Hi there, I wud jst like to know, I've been on oracle for over a year I skipped a month and a half of taking the pill, and now I'm going on quick getaway with my bf in a weeks time, and now my period seems to fall on those days..I have now taken the white pill so that my red pills fall on the following week..would this work? ## Unless your doctor gives you some specific reason not to do so, you can just skip your period week, so you don't start then, yes. You may still experience some spotting/breakthrough bleeding, though. Is there anything else I can help with?

my periods are 7 weeks late. hpt results were negative so took mensovit plus(3 times 2 days) last week. I still haven't got my periods. what can be the reason? please reply quickly... should I take the tablets again ? ## Oh I am having the same problem. Did u get your periods yet? What did u do? ## @cher, Based on my research, Mensovit Plus is a medication which is prescribed for regulating the menstrual cycle. Mensovit Plus should only be taken under the care of a licensed doctor/Gynecologist/OBGYN. Have you suffered from irregular periods before? If so, are you currently seeing a doctor or gynecologist? Irregular periods often happen when there is a hormone imbalance in the body. Hormone imbalances can be caused by stress, poor diet, or certain genetic conditions. I would definite...

Once on the benzo road 2 things will happen. If you stop taking them slowly or cold turkey you will want a quick death. If you continue, your dose will have to be increased periodically. I am on 1mg. 9 months ago it worked for about 8 hours. Now it's down to 3 hours. You're making a deal with the devil, beware. ## I agree with your post but after going C/T, Hospitalization for a week and almost dying, about the last thing I want or need to do is take more Xanax. I take 33% less and have enough to last me for a long long time. I used to worry about my next dose and became obsessed with it all, not anymore.

The doctor just gave me Minastrin 24 Fe to take to relieve severe pain during my periods and to prevent pregnancy. I just finished my period the day before I went to see the doctor. Will Minastrin still be effective as a birth control after 7 days if I quick start it? Thank you! ## Hello, Ashlynn! How are you? Yes, you just need to use a backup method of protection, until the 8th day. The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, PMS-like symptoms and breakthrough bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you very much! I appreciate the help! ## Very welcome! Have an awesome day! ## Hi, every once in awhile, because I take my birth control in the dark, I accidentally take a white pill from ...

I am scared that if he consult me further prescription then I have bad trauma that I am not ready to take further pills. ## Hello, Vishal! How are you doing? What dose were you taking? It is odd to have such withdrawal symptoms after such a short period of time. Why did you stop taking it? And yes, you should consult your doctor.

I've been on Dilauded for 6 mos. following major spine surgery. For the first few weeks I was talking 10mg every three hours. I quickly tapered off to two 10mg twice daily. I have been on this dosage for about five months. I took my last 10mg pill 72 hours ago. I ache all over, am alternately sweating then freezing cold, have runny bowls, am sneezing and stopped up, am suffering through periods of anxiety, and just generally feel rotten. How long should these symptoms last? Should I go back to 1/2 pill (5mg) twice daily , which would be cutting my previous dosage in half, and then cut it down again to 2 1/2mg twice daily until I'm weaned? OR since I've gone this long, should I just tough it out? ## Hello, Kabby! How are you feeling? What you've described can all be typic...

Hi-I have been on Zoloft 150 (Sertraline) for 5 weeks. I jumped really quickly--I started on 50 then 75 for a day or two then 100 for two days and have been on 150 ever since. So basically, low levels for a week then 150. In the past few weeks, I have had shaky hands and a few days ago had itchy skin (which I know could be anything) and leg soreness like I worked out really hard (I have worked out twice in a week) so nothing too crazy. I am very bothered by this--I was on Zoloft before and had no issues. I am also taking (for short period) Klonopin for sleep 1-1.5mg/night. Any thoughts? I feel better but not 100% more like 50-60%. Still get nervous, I also had a miscarriage (ectopic) and had methotrexate about a month ago. Any thoughts? THANKS! update: doctor told me to drop to 100 for ...

Have taken 10-20mg of temazepam for last 8-10 weeks about 5 days a week with a couple of week periods without any. Started noticing strong focus issues and grogginess throughout the day; have stopped cold turkey for 5 days now and am suffering from: anxiety, slight neck soreness, poor concentration, strange stomach sensations and hot flashes. Symptoms seem to have decreased a bit each day since cessation. Should my withdrawal symptoms clear up any time soon? ## I think you are coming off these meds far too quickly. Take at least a week taking them at a little lesser dosage, then two weeks at the next lowered dosage and so on. Three weeks on next and so on. Dont rush it. Get to the point where you even shave off some of your tablet. ## What Lorna has stated is correct, it is really much ...

I recently started taking two tramadol 50 mg for severe joint pain due to RA. At the same time, my blood pressure was high (226/108) so i took 25 mg metoprolol and 25 mg losartan. Will my blood pressure drop too quickly? ## Hello, Irene! How are you? Has there been any change? These medications will not work to instantly lower blood pressure. They must be taken consistently over a period of time to have their full beneficial effect in your body, they cannot only be taken on an as needed basis. With readings that high, you could be in danger and should see your doctor for assistance, or if you've been instructed to take these medications regularly, you should start doing so. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urinatio...

I was prescribed Prednisolone to treat Polymyalgia 11 years ago. Initially I took 15mg a day which was quickly reduced to 10 and gradually to 5mg. I have tried gradually reducing the dose many times in the intervening years but always ended up with a severe return of the original problem. I have now managed to reduce the dose to 4mg daily. My condition is aggravated by my having type 2 Diabetes for which I take insulin because of the steroid treatment. I have recently noticed swelling in my legs and ankles during the evening more especially during periods of hot weather. Also my stomach and breasts seem enlarged. I am trying again to reduce the dose but am concerned about long term effects. Any comments or advice would be appreciated. ## You may always have to take a medication to treat...

I have been prescibed 20 mg of the d-amphetamine salt combo 3 times a day. I need to wean myself from this drug as quickly as possible. Can I do it without a doctor's help by cutting each dose in half? ## Hi Susie, Yes it can be done without a doctor's help if you are confident in your own ability. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. At least that's what I would focus on doing if I were in your shoes. It may also be a good idea to involve family or friends to help keep you on track and record your pro...

Every pain doctor should understand that issue, it is well known to occur in everyone, when they've taken something for a long period of time. The FDA has many articles explaining it and advising doctors on how to deal with it. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

It didn't take long to realize that squeezing the bottle would drain it all too quickly. Much better to simply hold it upside down for a few seconds while the brush acts as a wick, then, once wet, drag it across the affected nails, ensuring you can feel wetness. In other words, forget about administering a certain number of drops. Just do what you need to do to keep that brush wet. I'm fortunate that, under Medicare and Tricare-for-Life, three bottles cost me only $16 when ordered from Express Scripts. ## I'm two-thirds of the way into this regimen and visible fungus has been reduced by at least 90%. ## I have just completed the full treatment of three 90-day periods of Jublia application to my two affected toenails, and am happy to report that about halfway through the thir...
