I just filled a script for hydrocodon/acetaminophine 10-500, The pills say 3500 on it instead of 3600, but they still have a V. If you are reluctant to take it then what I would suggest is going back to the pharmacy with it and telling them that the imprint code is different from your previous prescription. I was prescribed by my doctor to take 1000mg at one time for an infection. I got the pills in MX and each bottle says 500mg and contains 6 capsules. Is each pill 500mg or all 6 pills together 500mg?
