I've been getting norco made by Qualitest for a few yrs. now. I was given Vicodin 1st but I had problems with sweats and head aches. The Dr. gave me Norco by Qualitest and they worked great. They helped my pain without making me drowsy. They've been on back order for a long time and even the white ones are on back order. Should we expect the problem to be fixed soon or are the yellow norco gone forever? ## After speaking to my pharmacist about 4 months ago, he told me qualitest is actually manufacturing or taking over a lot of pharmaceuticals. I know when I get a qualitest medication it's going to work. ## Some companies has changed their formulations to remove any dyes, due to problems with customers being allergic to them. The FDA warns that this medication carries the ris...

I take the Qualitest brand of Norco 7.5/325 and find it superior to Watson Any others agree with this opinion, or have different thoughts? ## I do not like Qualitest at all - it makes me feel like sleeping so I can't take it during the day. Watson NEVER did that to me - I can't find any pharmacies to fill my Rx with Watson any more. So bummed. ## I think Watson has recently changed formula... I used to agree with you that Watson was superior, but within the last six months I've noticed a profound change it. ## I haven't been able to buy Watson in quite a while but I believe you - I feel that every generic I have purchased does NOT work like Watson used to. I think they've changed the formula/strength without telling anyone, that way people have to buy more to get the...

I'm trying to find a pharmacy that carries Qualitest Norco 10/325. I'll go to Fort Myers as well. Anyone know of a place? ## Hello, Kat! How are you? Due to the recent changes that required all of these combination medications to be lowered to now more than 325mgs per dose, many of them are hard to find right now, because the demand for these doses has exceeded the current supply and trying to find one from a specific manufacturer further complicates matters. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have a problem with the ones manufactured by other companies?

Has anyone experienced a total change in the effect of these after having used them with no problems for quite some time? These are completely different. I need to know if this is permanent before I get another prescription. It was the only one I could take and now I can't. Also, is anyone currently using non-generic Norco? Does it work well? Thank you. ## Hello, Evie! How are you? What seems to have changed with them? You didn't list the markings on them, so I can't research them for you to double check, though I gladly will, if you post back with this additional information. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm looking for the pharmacy that carries 10/325 norcos made by Qualitest the yellow ones I live in Ontario Ca 91761 ## Hello, Oswald! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies according to what medications from which manufacture they have in stock that I can refer to for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you tried asking your regular pharmacy if they can order them in for you?

Lately it seems like everywhere I go to get my norco 7.5 filled lately, I get those horrible white pills (not sure of the manufacturer). They seriously make me feel ill! I'm looking for a pharmacy around Livonia, Plymouth, Canton, Northville, etc, that still carries the peach ones with the flying "V" on the back (I believe it's Qualitest). Any help would be greatly appreciated! ## Hello Smash, Would you happen to have the imprints on either of the medications that you are describing? The flying V you are referring to is the imprint mark of the Qualitest brand but a large number of their medications comes in the peach/pink color and I wouldn't really be able to provide much useful information without knowing the imprints. Once you give me the imprints I can look up th...

I've been on pain management for many years due to chronic pain from degenerative arthritis and fibromyalgia. Taking 10/325 Qualitest/Par that worked for pain with no side effects. Helping to live a quality life. Last month I was given Lupin white 10/325. Terrible side effects. Borderline migraines, anxiety, tightness, little pain relief, lack of hunger and crying in pain in the night. Called many pharmacies to try and find the yellow Norco meds that work, no luck. Called Qualitest/Par to find a local pharmacy that carries them. Qualitest no longer manufactures hydrocodone products!! Does ANYONE have any med change options I can discuss with my doctor? He is aware of what is going on. ## Good luck finding anything these days due to the so called opioid crisis! My husband and I have ...

I go to the CVS ON Encinitas blvd. In encinitas. They stock qualitest. It's right off the 5 by 2 blocks. The qualitest is on the FDA diversion list. Go to the CVS stores near you personally and speak ONLY to the pharmacist. Some will order it for you. By phone they ALWAYS say they don't stock it. A lot of work but you have a reliable pharmacy after that. ## This is just a reminder and I'm not sure of the Calif state laws governing Schedule II meds. They may be tighter than Federal Law. But, Norco and all other Hydrocodone Combination meds will be moving to a Schedule II later on this year. That means that the same restrictions that apply to Schedule II meds will also reply to these meds. RIght now, Norco and other hydrocodone combination meds are Schedule III. Schedule II ca...

I would like to find a pharmacy in Albuquerque NEw Mexico that carries Qualitest 10/325. They work best for me. I was prescribed norco 10/325 for my back pain. I will NEVER take this shyt ever again!! Please let me know of any pharmacys that dispense the Qualitest. Thank you so much. Kimber ## Hello, Kimber! How are you doing? Is the yellow dye in the Qualitest hydrocodone tablets tartrazine, aka FD & C yellow # 5? Many people, myself included, are highly sensitive to this dye. Lots of manufacturers still use it, for unknown reasons. But some have switched to an iron compound for the yellow color (who needs it?!). I have spent much time online trying to get this info, to no avail. If anyone knows, your response would be greatly appreciated! ## Hello, Bluecat! How are you? What is the difference in the white oblong pill with m367 and the yellow with a V and 3601? ## The only difference between these two tablets is that they are manufactured by different companies. The one with the M marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the one with the V is manufactured by Vintage/Qualitest. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But both are the same dosage and contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, Your wrong. I have been taking Hydrocodone-Acetominophen 7.5-325 for years for degenerative disks in my back. The generic Aurobindo tablets don't work for me and make me nauseated. Applause go to: Mallinckrodt. Mallinckrodt manufactures that same prescription (white pill M366) and they are the only ones I have found that actually work with no unpleasant side effects. I really wish my pharmacy hadn't switched manufacturers. I am extremly disappointed in Aurobindo generic for Norco. The other one that didn't work was orange with a V on one side and 36|05 on the other, manufactured by Qualitest. It was garbage, just like the Aurobindo. ## I've probably just read 50 reviews on Hydrocodone 10-325's & you're the first person that actually has something good to say about Mallin...

I have been prescribed Qualitest yellow 10/325 Norco for over a year now for my Fibromyalgia and only take one pill at night which has helped my pain level tremendously. Qualitest is the only manufacturer that has worked for me as I have tried a few others they just upset my stomach and give me headaches. I just recently picked up my new prescription and something is VERY wrong with this new prescription. Normally I don't have any side effects but this batch, my stomach hurts when I take them and they just give me a massive headache. I have absolutely no pain relief like I always have in the past. I'm thinking they may have changed the inactive ingredients. Does anyone have an ideas on how to find out if they have changed something in their formulation? I am not crazy here, some...

Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin. The V stands for Vintage Pharmaceuticals, they were purchased by Qualitest several years ago and there are many pills with the V logo that don't contain narcotics of any type. Additionally, Norco is just a name brand for a certain combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone….while it was originally ones that just contained 325mgs of Acetaminophen, with several doses of the Hydrocodone, since it is available as a generic now, they are pretty much all just us...
