Why has the price of a 0.5 ml Alprazolam prescription more than doubled in price in the past month? ## That is a question I cannot answer, the price can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and from pharmacy to pharmacy. Have you tried calling around or visiting different pharmacies to see if anyone has a better price? ## Overhead, manufacturing and inflation has affected the prices of all prescription drugs, regardless of the company and potency....

I've been getting norco made by Qualitest for a few yrs. now. I was given Vicodin 1st but I had problems with sweats and head aches. The Dr. gave me Norco by Qualitest and they worked great. They helped my pain without making me drowsy. They've been on back order for a long time and even the white ones are on back order. Should we expect the problem to be fixed soon or are the yellow norco gone forever? ## After speaking to my pharmacist about 4 months ago, he told me qualitest is actually manufacturing or taking over a lot of pharmaceuticals. I know when I get a qualitest medication it's going to work. ## Some companies has changed their formulations to remove any dyes, due to problems with customers being allergic to them. I've been on percocet generic 10 years and last 3 qualitest 10/325. It's the absolute best I've had. I will not accept others. I tried to take my rx back to walmart today but no qualitest so I went back to cvs. It's truly the best. I have taken hydro before and found Boca pharmaceutical out of Florida to be best. It was sold by walmart at the time. Both incredible good genetics as I researched both before I asked for them. First time they ordered them. Some will some will NOT say take what we have or go some place else. I always am made to feel like a dope addict when I get these filled. I want to say I'm paying your damn 125k paycheck. ## I'm sorry about the experiences you've had at some pharmacies. There are some that do seem to be suspicious of anyone tha...

I have insomnia issues long term since APS related migraines etc.. Loved the Zolpidem 5mg pink caplets(oval) as could break even into 3 if it is 4 in the morning but am bouncing off rem sleep. My pharmacy no longer carries that brand but uses tiny 5 mg unbreakable white circular pills. The full 5 mg gives me that awful "hangover"How can I find a pharmacy that carries this 5 mg pink caplet?? How much is it? My insurance won't cover unless it is through their pharmacy. It is worth paying a little more if I can get by taking less & not wiping out the next day. ## Are you saying your previous brand you liked was Qualitest? Ive only ever used the 10mg so I dont know specifically what Qualitest 5 looks like. However, if it was Qualitest you had before and liked, you are out of...

I changed pharmacies cause the pill police Rexall pharmacist in small town KS took it upon himself to make me come in twice a month for a 30 day script and even lied about it said the dr. prescribed em that way. Well when I switched to the Qualitest it seems they are not nearly as good. Can't sleep, I wake up 3 hours after going to bed and ache all day. Anyone else experience BAD QUALITY WITH QUALITEST? ## Hello, Tom! How are you? You aren't the first person to have a problem with their products, but it does vary, they work great for some people. There can be variations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so it may be slightly lower than the one you were taking, which could explain why it doesn't work for you. You can learn more about this by ...

this brand doesn't seem to work as well as the sandoz brand of my bp med ## I got my prescription filled at the same pharmacy, etc. they switched from Sandoz to qualitest and I've developed a horrible body odor. I know it's from the drug as absolutely nothing else has changed, (soap, lotion, diet, etc) and I had the same thing happen once when I tried a certain brand of diet shake. as soon as I stopped using it, the odor went away. not sure what I can do with the 90 day supply or how I can get the Sandoz now. ## Reilly - eat yogurts 3 a day and 2 apples. Also get a big bag of dried apricots at the health food store and munch. Water, water, water! Also try milk thistle extract from health food store. It'll help some. Good luck. ## @Reilly, If other brands don't cause ...

My pharmacy changed manufacturers of trazodone from Apo T150 to Qualitest brand. First problem is that it doesn't work. It took 3 hours to finally doze off, and 30 minutes later I woke up thinking I was choking, but actually had severe dry mouth and after 1/2 bottle of water it is getting a little better. Is this manufacturer change due to Medicare changes, or pharmacy (Walgreens) changes? Thank you for any information you can provide. ## Hi Charlotte, I been taking trazodone for many years and I live here in ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. You have no idea how happy I am to see I'm not going nuts. Sorry, I was not being rude when I said I was happy to see your message. I think u knew what meant. I hope, but anyhow, I believe that I have been on this medicine for at least 6 or 7 years. But...

I have taken Lactulose for many years, the last year at a higher dose because the HE/ liver issues have worsened. NO fun, but doable. My insurance won't cover Xifaxin because lactulose exists. I picked up the new Rx at CVS today, but was puzzled by the "Green Coloring" notice. Since I am allergic to so many things, i hesitated--it has ALWAYS BEEN COLORLESS--but tried it anyway. I got one tbs down and gagged so hard I had it come through my nose! Even their website says "clear." (My previous Rx have been "Generlac Lactulose"; I will let my Dr know to ONLY write for that brand.) I DUMPED THE REST OF THE QUALTEST down the drain.

lowertabs 10325 made by qualitest ## Hello, Richard! How are you? Did you mean Lortabs? If so, what did you want to know about them? They contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this mediation as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I take Qualitest 10/500 pink hydrocodone. My pharmacy has told me that Qualitest will no longer be making this. I have tried other 10/500 pills to no avail. Qualitest is the only manufacturer that works on my pain . Does Qualitest offer another size ? ## Hello, Ted! How are you doing? Actually, after the first of the year (2014), none of the manufacturers will be making this dosage, anymore. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can occur with long-term use of high amounts of Acetaminophen, as well as the overdose fatalities that have occurred with these medications, the FDA has requested that all combination prescription products be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose. My local pharmacy recently changed from Qualitest lorazepam to Actavis (Watson). So I have to transfer. Most pharmacies here sell Leading Pharma or Actavis. I have an adverse reaction from Watson lorazepam (serious side effects with no calming effect). I used to take Ativan but it is too expensive to continue (I took it when I was abroad and from Kaiser in the U.S. but Kaiser changed it to generic Qualitest lorazepam). I do not use Kaiser insurance anymore. Qualitest is milder than Ativan in terms of effect, like 50%-60% of Ativan, but less dehydrated and OK considering it is generic. Ativan is $2600 for 1mg 30ea in cash. Besides, most insurance does not cover it or do not want to pay for it by forcing doctors to prescribe generic lorazepam instead. If you guys take Qualitest, could you...

I take the Qualitest brand of Norco 7.5/325 and find it superior to Watson Any others agree with this opinion, or have different thoughts? ## I do not like Qualitest at all - it makes me feel like sleeping so I can't take it during the day. Watson NEVER did that to me - I can't find any pharmacies to fill my Rx with Watson any more. So bummed. ## I think Watson has recently changed formula... I used to agree with you that Watson was superior, but within the last six months I've noticed a profound change it. ## I haven't been able to buy Watson in quite a while but I believe you - I feel that every generic I have purchased does NOT work like Watson used to. I think they've changed the formula/strength without telling anyone, that way people have to buy more to get the...

I need to find, for my pharmacy, Trazadone by Qualitest. I take three daily. I have been on other manufacturers since February of last year and having problems. The one they have me on now has me crying easily and I cannot get going to do anything. Once I get going, I act like I am in a hurry all the time. My pharmacy tried the ones I am on now 2 years ago and I had problems then. Can someone help? ## I know from personal interaction the other manufacturers are not the same chemical compositions. The results are obviously different. The absolute worst one is PLIVA. While on that, I even let my electricity get cut off. I worry for other patients, too. I was sent to another pharmacy and given Apotex last night. I found Qualitest myself a couple of years ago and the pharmacy I use ordered ...

My medicine has been changed from oxycodone 30 mg with opana 60mg to the oxy 30 with morpine sul 30 mg er** I was wondering will it work as well? ## Oxymorphone / Opana is quite a bit stronger than morphine, so unless your taking alot more morphine pills I can't see how it can. But maybe you will have a good reaction to it. Good luck! ## I agree with Denzidrine, in that every medication can effect each person differently; so the only way to find out is to actually try it and see how it works for you in comparison to what you're used to taking. Keep in mind though that the inactive ingredients in each tablet also play a significant role in how you react to the medication. When it comes to being able to afford meds, have you considered utilizing an Rx savings card to help cut down on their cost? Rx savings cards, such as the one MedsChat offers (here) could potentially save you anywhere from 15-75% off your prescription. Another option would be to look into various patient assistance programs that some manufacturers offer to patients who meet certain income criteria. However you may have to discuss this with your doctor for more specific details on how to apply for those programs. D...

If you are such a large pharmaceutical company, how could it be possible that no pharmacy, in all of Tulare County, Ca. has any Carisoprodol, 350 mg, which is a Qualitest generic for Soma, in stock whatsoever? Their same reply to me continues to be, "They're on back order & we don't know when we'll get them in." I have been taking Soma only when needed since the 80's & have now been without them for well over a month!! When I am having one of my excruciating muscle spasms, these have always been the only pills that work but since being without them I am left to my last resort of taking pain pills which are not meant to relax muscles, so I have to take a double dose, which knocks me out & is the only way to stop the spasms without my usual Soma! I'm trying to find a pharmacy that carries Qualitest Norco 10/325. I'll go to Fort Myers as well. Anyone know of a place? ## Hello, Kat! How are you? Due to the recent changes that required all of these combination medications to be lowered to now more than 325mgs per dose, many of them are hard to find right now, because the demand for these doses has exceeded the current supply and trying to find one from a specific manufacturer further complicates matters. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have a problem with the ones manufactured by other companies?
