Qualitest Hydrocodone 10 325

Although many have said one drug is the same as the other I find that Qualitest hydrocodone 10/325 seems to not affect me as far as making me drowsy and extremely tired. It does so help with the pain but it does not make me so I can not function. The other manufacturer Mallincor (spelling not right) their hydrocodone makes me so tired I have to literally go to bed. Strange I think that if two drugs are identical how can they have different effects to you. I prefer to not take any hydrocodone but until I am through this pain I prefer to take the one that does not comatose me. ## While they contain the same active ingredients, there can be fluctuations in the amount of them that are in generic medications, additionally, the inactive ingredients can be entirely different. Thus, the one fro...

I take Qualitest 10/500 pink hydrocodone. My pharmacy has told me that Qualitest will no longer be making this. I have tried other 10/500 pills to no avail. Qualitest is the only manufacturer that works on my pain . Does Qualitest offer another size ? ## Hello, Ted! How are you doing? Actually, after the first of the year (2014), none of the manufacturers will be making this dosage, anymore. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can occur with long-term use of high amounts of Acetaminophen, as well as the overdose fatalities that have occurred with these medications, the FDA has requested that all combination prescription products be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose. i have a severe back problem and go to a pain clinic for pain management. I use Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/500 (pink) for years for break through pain. I know they had to go to 10/325 but what I want to know is do they make the exact same pill except for the acetominaphen part. I have tried the white and I have tried the 10/500 Watson which is not blue but white and they just don't work. I just want the same makeup as the Qualitest that I have taken for years and even if the 2nd part is cut down I could add back a tylenol to it to get that 2nd part. I am not afraid of it I just need some pain relief and the pink ones did it for me and neither white or Watson white, they just don't work. Please help me and lead me in the right direction ## Hello, Louise! How are you? No, I'm so...

I have had many Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/325, printed different. Right way is v, turn over3601, which is correct. Others , the V is upside down. Totally different printed pills. This should not be happening. I am concerned they are counterfeit pills. Happened to me twice now. NEVER use to have this problem. ## It's not counterfeit, it just has to do with the pharmacy ordering from a different soarse. Like meds from the V.A. are marked different. Right no with DEA and FDA cracking down is making it hard for pharmacies to get any type of pain medication. Sad part is that this is creating people who are in need are going to the streets for meds, this in turn is more drug dealers out there so now DEA can keep there jobs. I think it's a bunch of b.s cause I take 15mg. of morphine and...

Is the yellow dye in the Qualitest hydrocodone tablets tartrazine, aka FD & C yellow # 5? Many people, myself included, are highly sensitive to this dye. Lots of manufacturers still use it, for unknown reasons. But some have switched to an iron compound for the yellow color (who needs it?!). I have spent much time online trying to get this info, to no avail. If anyone knows, your response would be greatly appreciated! ## Hello, Bluecat! How are you? Actually, it is listed as being FD&C yellow #6. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My son-in-law takes the yellow Norcos. Then one day, he picked up his meds ...

What is the difference between qualitest brand Hydrocodone/Acet 10/325 with a V on one side and 36 01 on the other side of this yellow pill, as opposed to Mallinckrodt white pill with the same strength? The Mallinckrodt pills give me lots of bad side effects and do not help my pain as well as the Qualitest ones do. ## I also got my yellow 10/325's switched to the Mallinckrodt white by RiteAid. I have severe chronic pain and the white ones don't have much effect. How do I find the yellow ones? Thanks ## Dear Qualitest Representatives: Since 2002, when I had a 3-level 360 back fusion I have been taking hydrocodone, and usually the 10/325's, first Watson's then Qualitest which work absolutely the best for my pain. Now the pharmacy has switched to Mallinckro 10/325 White w/3...

Is this pill 5 mg or 10mg? And what does the 3604 stand for? ## Hello, Doc! How are you? The white, oblong tablet with the red specks that has the marking 3604 V on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And according to law, all manufactured prescription tablets must have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of an emergency, so any given pill can be traced by to a specific manufacturer. That's what the 3604 V is, it's just the code that Vintage/Qualitest has chosen to use on this pill to identify it as their product. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been prescribed Qualitest yellow 10/325 Norco for over a year now for my Fibromyalgia and only take one pill at night which has helped my pain level tremendously. Qualitest is the only manufacturer that has worked for me as I have tried a few others they just upset my stomach and give me headaches. I just recently picked up my new prescription and something is VERY wrong with this new prescription. Normally I don't have any side effects but this batch, my stomach hurts when I take them and they just give me a massive headache. I have absolutely no pain relief like I always have in the past. I'm thinking they may have changed the inactive ingredients. Does anyone have an ideas on how to find out if they have changed something in their formulation? I am not crazy here, some...

Anybody know of pharmacies in the Los Angeles area that carries the Qualitest Hydrocodone 10-325. My pharmacy switched to another brand. As I have tried them all (back surgery) Qualitest works best for me. Thanks. ## Hi Jay here still looking. Qualitest is by far the most effective medication in it's class in my opinion. I live in Long Beach CA, and can't find a pharmacy that carries this brand. Anybody in the LA area have any input as to the availability of this product. Thanks again ## Bristol Pharmacy in Irvine has them. I have had my left arm reattached, right wrist broken last year and a total of 3 broken ankles. And metal in two parts of my body. I am always in pain. I understand and only wish that people and the FDA could work together to hep people in pain. It can be ver...

Is Mallinckrodt m367 10-325 the same as Qualitest 3601 10-325? ## Both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference is that they are manufactured by different companies. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects pr...

I live in Escondido CA 92029. I am looking for a pharmacy that carry Qualitest brand name for Hydrocodone 10/325. Qualitest brand works best for me. I used to get them at CVS, but they have discontinued carrying the brand. Can you help? I live in San Diego County. My zip code is 92029. ## Hi. I live in Esco.. In March of 2017, Esco Pharm carried Qualitest but just said they couldn't get any more? Are you getting them in Esco ok in march of 2017? ## I need QUALITEST (yellow) brand hydrocodone in (High Point area or Greensboro area) NC. Anyone know where I can fill a prescription for them? CVS stopped carrying them?

For some 6-8+ years now, i have been taking 7.5/325 Hydrocodone (HYDROCO/APAP); generic name Qualitest. The pill is colored (pinkish/orange) with a "v" inscribed on one side; not 100% sure of Manufacturer; possibly NORCO or PAR P.; Qualitest has ALWAYS been the most reliable version of Vicodin/Hydrocodone. At any rate, much to my surprise several months ago, i had a script filled but when i opened vial, it was filled with WHITE (Watson) tablets; i was told that Qualitest was no longer available. The next morning (basically every morning) i awakened with a significant amount of pain and got myself up to take my normal/regular dose but after more than enough time for what would have relieved the pain; i felt NO relief whatsoever; after a second pill, i started to feel nauseous and...

I’m SUPER conserned because my pharmacy has switched from the yellow Qualitest Norco to 2 different brands I must choose from: Tris Pharma & Lupin Pharma. They are 10/325 Norco. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, fibromyalgia, back surgeries in past and I’m told in future. I can’t stand the idea of being in pain all month. Any advise on which brand to get? I have been given the white Watson brand and the other white ones that say M367 (I think it’s a 7 at the end) they were 10/325 non the less. The Watson brand was ok but the M367 was like taking nothing sometimes. Please help me decide. Those are the only brands I can find. I am so afraid I’ll be in pain all month like I was with the M367 and Watson brands. ## The only way to really find out is by trying one...

I have been taking Hydrocodone-Acetominophen 7.5-325 for years for degenerative disks in my back. The generic Aurobindo tablets don't work for me and make me nauseated. Applause go to: Mallinckrodt. Mallinckrodt manufactures that same prescription (white pill M366) and they are the only ones I have found that actually work with no unpleasant side effects. I really wish my pharmacy hadn't switched manufacturers. I am extremly disappointed in Aurobindo generic for Norco. The other one that didn't work was orange with a V on one side and 36|05 on the other, manufactured by Qualitest. It was garbage, just like the Aurobindo. ## I've probably just read 50 reviews on Hydrocodone 10-325's & you're the first person that actually has something good to say about Mallin...

Watson 10/325 yellow Norco has worked for 13 years - the white tablets I fillled are not helping WHATSOEVER. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpet tunnel in both wrists,3 herniated discs, 2 bulging discs and 3 fuses discs in my neck among a few problems. This is horrible - between this & the Qualitest bad pills that made me sick last month along with NO pain relief my Dr. is saying he is going out on a limb for me - no one is going out on a limb - we are simply standing up and stating obvious fraudulent pills being sold as pain relief when there is NONE. This is so horrible to live in pain and be afraid to call your Dr. again and tell them this has happened again now with a different brand that previoulsy worked before they "took out the yellow dye". Don't ever get that ActaVas brand Norco 10 325 white tabs they do not work I had half yellow half white last prescription big difference with the yellow ones no doubt I did my own experiment The yellow has a V on them I'm not sure what brand they are but they work much better then the Actavis ## Hi- yeah I've been taking the generic ones ( Hydrocodone), and they seem to wear off within 3 hrs. I've been searching on Google for answers and was wondering if you or anyone else knows if they contain sulfites. I get allergic reactions to sulfites and I know these could have them in the inactive ingredients. Thx. ## @Dash, The yellow one's with a V 36 01 are made by Qualitest (formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals). From what I've heard, these yellow ones are thought to be o...

I've been on pain management for many years due to chronic pain from degenerative arthritis and fibromyalgia. Taking 10/325 Qualitest/Par that worked for pain with no side effects. Helping to live a quality life. Last month I was given Lupin white 10/325. Terrible side effects. Borderline migraines, anxiety, tightness, little pain relief, lack of hunger and crying in pain in the night. Called many pharmacies to try and find the yellow Norco meds that work, no luck. Called Qualitest/Par to find a local pharmacy that carries them. Qualitest no longer manufactures hydrocodone products!! Does ANYONE have any med change options I can discuss with my doctor? He is aware of what is going on. ## Good luck finding anything these days due to the so called opioid crisis! My husband and I have ...

I found this pill in my 18 year old nieces pocket when i went to wash clothes and i've tried looking it up and cant find it anywhere. Please help. ## This tablet was manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as having contained 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The reason you couldn't find it listed anywhere is due to the fact that is has been discontinued due to the amount of Acetaminophen that was in it. The FDA no longer allows combination prescription medications to contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, so this hasn't been manufactured for several years, now. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation....

I usually get the yellow V 36 01 when I fill my 10mg Norco. This time they gave me white V 36 09. ## Hi debra, The V 36 09 white pill is a new version made by Qualitest that only recently came out on the market; which is why information seems scarce at the moment. However other patients here have also confirmed this in the following discussion thread: Discuss/hydrocodone-yellowwith-v-on-one-and-3609-on-the-other-what-dose-208024.htm It reportedly contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Though I'm not sure if it's brand name Norco or generic. You could try contacting the manufacturer for more specific details if need be. I hope this helps! ## it is generic norco . made my hand swell, and I was very irritable . Horrible feeling

I got these from the va this month instead of the ones I hated..( the ones marked M367)...they look the same as the yellow hydro by qualitest...except they're white & the numbers are different... I would like to know everyone's opinion of this medicine..? After taking the m367s...these are great... To me... ## They are manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, constipation, dry mouth, and dizziness. I am very glad that they are working for you. Has anyone else had a good experience with these tablets? ## I too have just gotten these from the VA Pharmacy in Orlando. They are terrible....
