I'am taking the Quadtab tablet for more than one month its 4 tablets a day before breakfast on the first week I'm having a hard time to sleep and also shortness of breathing and now I've notice that my skin is turning dark I'm afraid Is it also a part of the side effects? ## Hi dear! anti tuberculosis ## how many times do I have to take quadtab as treatment for my recurring PTB? ## This drug contains Rifampicin 150 mg, INH 75 mg, pyrazinamide 400 mg, and ethambutol HCl 275 mg. It is indicated for intensive phase treatment of all forms of pulmonary & extrapulmonary TB. Dosing schedule: "Adult ≥71 kg 5 tab, 55-70 kg 4 tab, 38-54 kg 3 tab, 30-37 kg 2 tab. To be taken once daily, for 2-mth intensive phase treatment followed by a 3-drug (rifampicin + INH + ethambutol) for ≥4 mth maintenance phase treatment." The doctor prescribed me Quadtab for anti-tuberculosis.4 tablets 30 mins before breakfast. Is it a side effect when my skin turns dark?... ## I've been taking quadtab 5 times a day. I feel this itch all over my body specially both of my legs and stomach. for tuberculosis ## i went for a check up past 5 mos ago and doctor says i have PTB,she gave me a prescription to take quadtab daily 2and a half tabs 30 mins before breakfast for 2 mos.but sad to say i didnt have the 2 mos coz i always forget to take every morning.i didnt went to see her after 2 mos.then i am taking this for almost 3 mos everyday.should i still see her?i am afraid what would be the findings :(
