100 MG from different manufacturer not working for me
2 Replies RSS
I'm getting desperate for an answer. 100 MG twice a day had been sufficient to gently give me the uplift I need and gave me some energy. I thought it was just a temporary glitch in my brain, but the new purple pill from a different manufacturer is simply doing nothing. I tried taking 1 and 1/2 tablets but no change. I am not doing well, dragging myself through the day, anxious for the next time I can lie down for a bit. It is a struggle. I have been doing some research and in your opinion, could APOTEX have changed the formulation. Previous company was MYLAN. ## I had a similar problem with BP medicine, along with other people. It was a change in manufacturer . It can happen. Tell your doctor and go back to other manufacturer. ## @Veronica, If you're looking for an answer as to ... ...

Does anyone know the difference between Kadian 30 mg to Watson 3450. My Kadian was just changed to the Watson pill and I am now in withdrawal. What is the difference? ## Kadian is the Brand name for Morphine Sulfate Extented Release capsules, it is made by Actavis. Watson 3450 is a purple/white capsule and contains 30 mgs Morphine Sulfate Extented Release. The amount of medication in a Brand and a generic may vary. The Brands have exact medication whereas generics may vary. For example, if you have a generic that says 10 mgs, there can be 8 mgs-12 mgs of medication in it. ...

The tablet manufactured by Lupin that contains 10mgs of the Amlodipine and 20mgs of the Benazapril is described as being purple, but it seems to look more reddish, with a darker portion where the two halves of the capsule overlap. This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, they list it as being purple and containing 10mgs of Zolpidem, so yes, it's a generic for Ambien. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and sleep actions. Is there anything else I can help with? ## How do you find a pharmacy that still carries Zolpidem from Mylan? My pharmacy switched to Teva and now the pill doesn't work for me. Walmart, walgreens, CVS are all from Teva. ## You could try Jewel Osco but if all the big drugstores have switched, I'd say you're SOOL. Mine are Teva, work fine for me. What does the sod stand for on phenytoin sod ext its a 100 mg purple and white capsule ## Why is it becoming more difficult to find xanax on The streets? ## What does SOD DR EC mean on the Diclofenac bottle? ## The SOD stands for Sodium, it designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from, that's why some list sodium, some list hydrochloride and etc. As to the DR on a prescription, just like XR, SR, ER and quite a few others, it designates that medication as being time released. As to the EC, from what I've found, it's used similar to ES, DS and etc. to designate that as being an extra strength dosage, rather than the standard prescribed amount. Are there any other questions or comments? ## My perscription bottle says. Metformin 500mg Tab.**RDS WHAT ... ...

I really hope things end up turning around for the better sooner than later. Has the Lyrica even been helping at all? I know a few people who have taken this medication for nerve and only got temporary relief from it at best. If this is the case for you as well, I'd probably suggest eating more fruits and vegetables alongside acupuncture or any herbal remedies (such as essential oils). This should at least help alleviate some of the nerve pain and can be done throughout your life without the side effects of those meds. If anyone else has... ...

Pradaxa for Mechanical Heart Valves?
6 Replies RSS
My wife has a leaflet valve in the mitral position, an A-V node ablation with pacemaker and constant A-fib. She has been on coumadin for 30 years and within the past few years has begun to get purple patches on her arms that are not bruises. They appear to be very near to necrosis as any damage to these areas becomes an open lesion. She also has unstable INR and tests weekly with a CoaguChek meter. Her cardiologist is unwilling to try the 100mcg concurrent vitamin-K therapy as an attempt to stabilize INR. It would appear that Pradaxa if approved for mechanical valve protection would get her out of the high risk of INR instability, the purple spots on her arms and maybe prove cost effective. My question, is there any hope that Pradaxa will be approved for her condition in the near future... ...
