Do they make a lortab 40mg. In a blue or purple capsule ## Hi, Candy! How are you? No, Lortab contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen and it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of they Hydrocodone. The only way someone would be able to get one with a higher amount of it would be if their doctor specially ordered it and had it made at a compounding pharmacy and, if that were the case, it would be in capsules. Was told it was a loritab?..is it? ## No, the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen tablet that is a generic for Lortab is actually a white, oblong tablet with the marking M 357 on it. I can't find a listing for something with just a 357 on it. Is that the entire marking? Do you know where the tablet is from?

My friend has been offered a purple football with speckles in it. I say it's not xanex but he swears it is. All she could read on the pill were the last 2 letters IN? What do you think? ## I'm not a pharmacist, but I know Xanax and I've never seen one speckled. It sounds like it might be an Adipex, which is a diet pill. ## With all the drugs out there and the various shapes, sizes, colors and imprints, it is impossible to identify it without knowing the entire imprint. ## not a chance ## i agree with jessica zippy goddess both jessica i'd say was just giving a good guess! ## A good guess, but without the markings on the pill, there is no way to know for sure. There are some Lortabs and other narcotics pills that meet that description as well, so it could even be one of t...

For Lortab 10/500, I have found that the oval bluish-purple (texture is chalky) tablets are very potent aand have a long duration. Has anyone ever seen/tried this form? ## hi, Herman! How are you? Are there any markings on the ones you're taking about? That will make it easier for anyone to know if they've taken it, or not, since the colors actually don't mean anything. There are several that resemble that, since this is available as a generic. Learn more Lortab details here.

When I first started picking up my Lortab 10/500 from my pharmacy, it was in pink tablet form. I asked the pharmacist why it was pink, and was told that it was a generic brand. I was also told that it was not as "effective" (potent-wise) as some other colors 10/500 came in. I asked which color had the most effectiveness for overall pain and was told the purple tablets were. After switching to the purple Lortab 10/500 tablets, I noticed a considerable difference in pain relief and duration. Actually, they look more like a bluish-purple. ## Hi Herman, It is true that generic brands are not as effective as brand name medications, generic medications are allowed (by the FDA) to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactiv...
