All through the 1960's my mother used to take a small round purple pill for her nerves. Any idea if it was an antidepressant, sedative or tranquilizer? ## Hi cb, Unfortunately without knowing what the actual imprint is, it would be extremely difficult to try and determine what exactly it might be. Both, manufacturers, as well as the pills they make, have undergone so many changes since the 60's (let alone in the past 5 years), that they probably don't even exist anymore. It's also plausible that it could be an OTC drug or dietary supplement of some sort. I'm am told by my husband's dad to make my husband take wellbutrin Sr 150 mg ta for his anxiety. But he got generic that is called bupropion tab 150 mg ta. It's a round shape and a light purple color with GG 036 imprinted on it.
