- ## Are there any markings on the capsule? Something can only be identified with the imprint on it, the colors don't actually mean anything. If there are no markings, then I strongly suspect it is something available over the counter. Found a Dark purple (half) and white (half) capsule no imprint. Anyone have a clue what this is? ## If there are no markings, it will most likely be difficult to narrow down what it contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. approved and manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The greatest likelihood is that it's something available over the counter. However, there is also a chance that it could be something specially done by a compounding pharmacy, since they also use blank capsules, or it could be a foreign medication. What could a purple capsule no markings White powder inside be ??? ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. Since over the counter items in the U.S. are not required to have imprints, like prescription medications are, it could be any one of a large number of items, including nutritional supplements or herbal products. Where was it found? There is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication, since they are not strictly regulated like those in the U.S. are. Does anyone else have an idea of what this could be?

I found this pill n i dont know what it is, please help me identify it...thanks... ## The capsule in description is identified as Ramipril (10 mg) from Canada; used primarily in the treatment of hypertension and other heart related conditions. I was even able to locate a description of the pill to verify the accuracy of my finding: "Blue opaque cap and white opaque body, self lock hard gelatin capsules of size ‘4’ imprinted with ‘RANBAXY’ on cap and ‘R-10’ on body containing white to off-white powder." My prescription drug was changed from phenytoin with the purple band to phenytoin plain white with the number 420 printed twice on the capsule; I was told it was fine to take same formula and different manufacturer but when I asked if the fillers were the same the pharmacist stumbled and then said it is ok. Since the medicine was changed without my knowledge or permission by somebody (nobody in the Dr.s office knows how this happened) I am wondering about it. I found a bag of pills in my sons room. The pill is a capsule that is half Purple and half Grey. The purple side has ST-3EF printed in white . The grey side has the numbers 224 over 3850 ( it is printed like a fraction with the 224 on top and the 3850 on the bottom) this is also printed in white. This is one of the over the counter Stacker products that's used for energy and weight loss, though I have to be honest and say that I have lost track of their imprints and can't find details on which specific one this is. With the EF on there, however, I do believe it's one of the later ones that is Ephedra free, since its safety has come under question in recent years. However, I am not sure which one this is, because most of their products are capsules now, so it seems that this is an older product that they may no longer manufacture. Can you please tell me if Gabapentin usp 400 mg comes in an unmarked white and purple capsule ## Not in the U.S. All manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only time a prescription medication would be in an unmarked capsule would be if it were something specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy and it would make no sense in this case, since this medication is already available in standard doses. That said, they are most likely some type of over the counter product, since they are not required to have imprints and be logged with FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?

what does a morphine 30 mg look like? ## Morphine 30mg tablets and capsules come in many different colors, shapes, and sizes.
