Hi there, i have really bad chest pains i did not go to the docter but i talk to a guy at the pharmacy and he said i should use it, i just want to know if its safe? It really get scary this pain but i dont have medical aid and i am too scared to go to a state hospital.. Im 23 years old... taking Pur-Bloka 10mg 3 imes a day. as part of my anti-depression medication. i am expenriencing extreme tiredness. does this get any better or should i ask for another type of medication. ## Hello, Monica! How are you? Since this contains the active ingredient Propranolol, which lowers heart rate and blood pressure, it might be causing yours to drop too low. Have you checked your blood pressure or heart rate, while you're feeling that way? This just might not be the right medication for you and you may need to switch to something else. ## Thank you Verwon. I have now reduced it to 1 tablet twice daily and feel much better. I will however monitor my blood pressure from now on. Thanks for the advise.

Why is Pur bloka being used in the treatment of migraine and Anachroid cyst? ## Pur-Bloka contains the active ingredient propranolol hydrochloride, in doses of 10 or 40mg tablets. Propranolol Hydrochloride's principal effect is to reduce the response of the heart to stress and exercise and it reduces blood pressure in patients with hypertension. The indications for this drug however, have no apparent relation to Arachnoid cysts or migraine headaches. The only conclusion I can reach is that Propranolol may help with specific symptoms or your body's response to such conditions; possibly allowing your body to relax when either of these conditions could make someone restless with insomnia. Hi there How are you? I have been experiencing heart palpitations. After ECG doctors said I have a constant fast heart rate. They prescribed pur-bloka 10mg 3x per day as a temporary thing. They said I might not have to use it permanently, but atleast for the next month or so and then we'll wean off. I am quite scared to use them. Should I be weary? I have taken Pur-Bloka previously, with not much luck. Being a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, having bipolar2 stabelised, I experience my emotions grabbing hold. (I did not want to be so anxious that I faint, or have an attack! in the aistle ) My Pshyciatrist was unavailable to provide me with a calming aid, so i saw one of her collegues. Hi there. I have been using 0.5 alzam and 10mg pur bloka for 12yrs.I suffer with high blood pressure 165/110 usually. In the beginning I used 2 alzam a day but Dr said 4 alzam a day and 2 per bloka.I suffer bad with anxiety. It gets so bad I turn to alcohol but then the next day I feel sooo sick, break out in sweats, heart palpitations and high blood pressure then keep wanting to have bad attacks that I take up to 6alzam but doesn't help. I am very concerned about the present shortage of Pur Bloka which was originally prescribed to assist the tremors in 2014, and this has been part of my chronic medication ever since. Dasage 20mg twice daily. This is now the second time that I have experienced a shortage in supply. My concern is that I tend to commence suffering from quite severe angina which usually occurs when I go to bed at night. Could this develop into something serious? Suffered Myocardial infarction in 1993. Other chronic medicines prescribed for hypertention are Ridaq 12.5mg daily and Enap 10mg twice daily. Please adivise when Purbloka will be available again?
