For verification, the NDC (National Drug Code) for this pill is: 59762-3722; which has been identified as Alprazolam (2 mg). Alprazolam is primarily used to treat moderate to severe anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder) and panic attacks, and is used as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety associated with moderate depression. More details about this drug can be found in the link below: Please post back if you have any questions or concerns about this being your pill.

I'm looking to try ayahuasca which is known as shaman medicine. I have genetically heavy depression tendencies. so I have to try some medication. I read ayahuasca fixed ptsd on a veterans soldier. so I have to try this one. By the way there are many shops which reportedly carry ayahuasca. Does anyone know if they're doing this legally or do I have to go Peru? Regards

I have severe combat ptsd along with vertigo and tenitus. It is terrible. Sleeping really sucks. I am trying to get put back on a low dose of clonazepam. In 3 years my doc has tried 15 different anxiety medd on me. I've never abused them and they truly are the only thing that cures my issues. I don't understand what the deal is. I'm no junky@ ## Hello, Grant! How are you? I am very sorry about the issues you're experiencing. My nephew also has combat PTSD, so I understand how terrible it is. The issue with Clonazepam is that it is a controlled substance, due to the fact that it carries the risk of being habit forming and under current DEA guidelines, doctors are supposed to try other options, before prescribing it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly inclu...

U name the drug iv been on it. At 53 im more suicidal than ever. Money does buy happiness. Will explain more later ## Sorry to hear about your suicidal intentions cherrub53. I used to have similar thoughts while I was in a severely depressed state of mind and in no way did I think I'd ever get out of it; but as time passed, so did my situation along with the negative way I used to look at it. Life is all about growing and learning from each experience to the next. Bad experiences can all change once you begin to look at your situation from another perspective. Obviously it is easier said than done for most people, but if you keep an open mind and see yourself in a different situation by slowly making changes to your current way of life, I'm sure you will notice a more positive s...

I have been diagnosed with ptsd by two different doctors after the suicide of my husband. these doctors will only give me benadryl for anxiety with an antidepressant. the benadryl only makes me sleepy. ## Hello, Bsquirrel! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. What antidepressant have they given you? Many of them are effective at treating anxiety and are the preferred treatment choice, because it helps keep it under control all the time, unlike many of the other medications that are only taken as needed. ## you need Prazosin my dear... will take away your nightmares. antidepressants are garbage i think. the blood pressure medication works very good for night mares

I have herniated discs in my neck and a traumatic brain injury resulting from combat exposure. I am prescribed and have [for almost 2 years] taken 30 mg of MS Contin 3 times a day for neck pain. Due to reasons too numerous to list I do get headaches which result in sleep loss and incapacitation due to the severity of pain. At first my Dr would prescribe Percocet for the head aches which take a pattern of 3-4 head aches every week for about 3 months of the year. Then he prescribed Morphine IR 30 mg prn before he decided that although the short acting opiates work for the pain and allow me to function through a head ache, prescribing them to me was hazardous (for head aches) and he believed I was "self-medicating" to deal with stress. * to the Dr.'s credit I do suffer from psy...

Between nuzak and venlor, which is better? I have been suffering from panic attacks from a young age, and 6 years ago my sister died (suffocated) in front of me, also 2 children later and I feel extremely unwell from anxiety and ptsd. Which would be better? I google too much and it makes me scared. ## There is really no way to say, since we are all different. What works well for you might not work for me, and so on. The NIH does warn that they cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. Are you on any other medications? I am so very sorry about your sister, that would be horrible, and a memory you can't let go of. ## Just for reference in case anyone else has an opinion Nuzak is the same active ingredient as Prozac (F...

I've had PTSD for 2 years and severe anxiety most of my life. It seems to be getting worse. I've been on Suboxone for 11 months and will be out of the program within 8 months. I'm in Ky. Lately, probably for the last year, the anxiety has turned into something else I can't even begin to manage. I'm having paranoid thoughts that people are going to kill me. The only place I feel safe is at home when the house is full of people. I can't go to the store anymore because I have this strong feeling that any body there could "get" me. I'm crying right now typing this because I feel so helpless. I KNOW its stupid and no one is really going to get me, but the feeling is so strong when it comes that I just freak out and think I'm having a heart attack or a ...

What are my options if Xanax doesn't seem to work for me? ## Most people don't say that. There are some stronger Benzodiazepines but they work differently? ## I agree with Eddy. Xanax is usually touted as one of the stronger benzodiazepine options on the market, so it's quite uncommon to hear from patient's who don't notice it's effects at all. A few other options that might be worth considering in the same drug class are: Diazepam (Valium) Clonazepam (Klonopin) Lorazepam (Ativan) Benzonatate (Tessalon) You may also want to familiarize yourself with another manufacturer's version of Xanax or Alprazolam, since they can all effect each person differently, regardless of there being the same active ingredient. In my opinion, the things that make them most differe...

Can fentanyl be administered to pts with a possible dilaudid sensitivity safely? ## This is definitely something that needs to be addressed with your doctor. There are a number of potential factors unique to each individual's health (that only your doctor or medical advisor would know), which could determine the safety of administering a drug with possible contradicting properties to your sensitivity.

I need help finding a psychiatrist in East Tennessee, near Bristol and the tri city area. I have severe PTSD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. My pain management doctor was writing them for me but the state is passing a new law that says that pain docs can't write them anymore, only psychiatrists, it takes effect in January 2016 and I have to find one by next month or December. I've been on them for about 12 yrs now through doctors and counseling places. The counseling center I go to now will not write any controlled substances, they say it's against their company policy to write them to anyone anymore. I know it's true, I know several people that go there because their insurance won't pay for any other places around here. That's my problem too, my insurance only...

I need to know if I can get a domestic prescription for Nimenza 3mg, or Nimetazepam 3mg. I was prescribed it in Japan and it was the only anti-anxiety medication that completely helped me and did not make me sedated for drowsy. Any advice or compounding pharmacies that can dispense this medication? Do manufacturers ever make deals with third parties who have prescriptions for the drug (which I do in Japan and USA; Schedule IV here although not produced, only one company now makes it!) ## Erimin 5 is one name for a drug called Nimetazepam, a type of Benzodiazepine manufactured in Sumitomo, Japan. It is an intermediate-acting hypnotic drug. It was first synthesized in 1962 by a team from Hoffman La Roche. Since early November 2015, it has ceased to be manufactured in Japan. It was prescri...

I get 120 Valium's for anxiety, 90 Adderall 30mg for adhd. And Zyprexa for ptsd and sleep. Does anyone have these same problems and think there is a better combo that you've tried? The Zyprexa helps control the highs and lows but it doesn't work as good. I'm a single mother so I gotta be the best me possible and could use any feedback. I am also 3 years clean off a 13 year opiate addiction. Demons and pain were numbed for so long. I just need a friend and advice. ## Have you ever tried Risperdal, which contains the active ingredient Risperidone? I'm seeing my pain doctor and psychiatrist this week to get on a proper pain regimen for debilitating fibromyalgia, severe insomnia with central sleep apnea, PTSD/anxiety from significant abuse I'm working through, chronic daily headaches (advanced migraines), and chronic pain from multiple surgeries (pelvic, back, neck...) Because my doctors don't collaborate I need to suggest options to them. I am sensitive to many medications and have tried a lot over the years. I want my life back. I'm smart and resourceful and at my wits end. I'm on low dose Seroquel for sleep - too much daytime sedation, as Ambien and Trazodone don't work. I'm also on Tramadol, Ativan and Skelaxin during the day. I can't drive, work or function well on this plan. Amitriptyline cause...

Just moved back to New Orleans. Have been on Adderall and Clonapin for 8 years recently got off and need to get back on. Have PTSD and ADD. What's a good doctor that will prescribe me this if I am legit and have paperwork? I don't need a hassle. I know what works for me. Thanks. ## Hello, Robert! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll need to see a specialist to have such medications prescribed, so in your case, that would most likely be a psychiatrist. The FDA lists Adderall as being a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of being habit forming and typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, weight loss and insomnia. Klonopin is listed as being a be...

I recently moved to pa. I have ADHD/PTSD. I couldn't get an appointment for 2 months. I need a temporary prescription from a walk in medical clinic. Does anyone know of Yardley Pa walk in that prescribes Valium (ptsd) and adderal (ADHD) ## Hello, Janet! How are you? I'm sorry, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist to have those medications prescribed, a general practice doctor will not be able to prescribe them for you. I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately, I don't. These regulations are applicable throughout the U.S., now. The only suggestion I can make is that if you run out and have issues, a local ER might be able to help you. Is there anything else I can help with?

My depression symptoms were anxiety and depression stemming from lack of self-esteem and felling helpless/hopeless after being in a bad work environment with my boss and after losing some work and property that I created in a hurricane. I had feelings of grief and depression and in lack of motivation. I had PTSD, with anxiety but I also just felt completely demotivated. I had difficulty concentrating. I would feel overwhelmed and also de-motivated. I would be agitated and on-edge while at the same time I just wanted to retreat and stop trying to fix my situation. In 2013, I decide to mood stabilizing medicine. My doctor started me on Zolft. I took it for six weeks or seven weeks. However, on the Zoloft I felt dull and I had a lack of libido. Then, I switched to Viibryd. Viibryd is worki...
