I have suspected PTB due to feel strong pain when coughing and the only medicines relieved me from pain in my coughing is the PYRAZINAMIDE as one of the medicine inside the Quadtab. The doctor advised me to take the Quadtab for 2 months then Tritab for another 4 months but after taking the Tritab for the end of 5 months I encountered mild coughing with phlegm due to my Allergic Rhinitis. Can I take again the Quadtab for 1 week to relieve again from coughing then go back again to Tritab for the remaining 1 months left for maintainance. Thanks

in my chest xray results hearts are within normal limits in size nodular infiltrates are noted in the right upper lobe. rest of the lung are clear. impression : chronic inflammatory lung disease compatible with ptb my doctor suggested to undergo sputum test which is acid fast bacilli but the result is negative.. Does i have an active ptb? ## In my previous xray result the finding is Left lobe minimal fibrosis. Then, i go to pulmo specialist and advice me for another xray. The result is chronic inflammatory lung disease compatible with ptb. But i do not undergo for sputum test, is it really 100% that i have TB even without sputum test? Is it xray is enough to say that i have TB?

have ptb and im on the 5moths of medication but since i start myrin i stop my pill which is diane35 then my period become delayed and now i;ve been two months delayed and a fews weeks ago i had a little bleeding sometimes at night sometimes in morning can myrin caused this or i have to go to obgyne

Hi guys i was diagnosed for minimal ptb and i was very shocked when the doctor told me so. Because I'm a bodybuilder but at the same time works at night. I'm taking my meds now for nearly 2months and i'm so depressed because i really had a massive weight loss like can you imagine that from 130lbs goes down to 119 :( i was so depressed angry i can't think straight. Hopefully after 2months my doctor said he will change my meds to a lighter one. Any suggestions?

I use fixcom 4 which my doctor prescribe for my ptb. 4 tab before bfast. On the first day i notice mu urine change in color to orange which i have read is normal. Then contanious on the third day i was worried when my stool tuns bloody. Can some one tell me what to do? I dont feel any changes or pain in my body but this is something not listed on the side effect of this medicine. But I probably sure this is from fixcome 4. What to do with it?

How long must i use the fixcom-4 as treatment for my minimal ptb? ## I am suffering from gas in my stomach, always my stomach is bloated. I have tried omez 20 mg and also omez 40 mg. Still no improvement in my condition. Please suggest a proper medicine. I am suffering from the above said condition for almost 8 to 9 years. ## How long can I take my fixcom 2? I don't know how many months I should be taking this for and would appreciate any feedback.

for tuberculosis ## i went for a check up past 5 mos ago and doctor says i have PTB,she gave me a prescription to take quadtab daily 2and a half tabs 30 mins before breakfast for 2 mos.but sad to say i didnt have the 2 mos coz i always forget to take every morning.i didnt went to see her after 2 mos.then i am taking this for almost 3 mos everyday.should i still see her?i am afraid what would be the findings :(

I am taking quadtab 4 tab once a day before breakfast, is it normal that i encounter non stop coughing for almost 10 mins with vomiting? Or i have to see my doctor too? But my doctor said that i am having bibasal pneumonia, is it ok that my ptb test was negative?

I am currently on clopidogrel due to a minor heart condition and also for my diabetes (aortic, mitral, tricuspid regurgitations). I am also currently taking Myrin-P Forte for newly diagnosed PTB, which I think causes pain in my leg and arm... I tried taking mefenamic acid once but i experienced chest pains... is this caused by the blood thinner?

my son age of 17 felt fever and coughing i brought him to a doctor,he took a chest X ray and diagnosed Tb and prescribe 4 tab. hdshdh ## Myrin P Forte contains 275mgs of Ethambutol, 150mgs of Rifampin, 75mgs of INH and 400mgs of Pyrazinamide, it is an antituberculosis medication. The most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, fever and gastro-intestinal disturbances. Are there any questions or comments? ## i have taken this for 10 days and now (11th day) i got this ichyness all over my body visibly with spots of red i can't help scratching. my doctor gave me this after xray impression: suggestive of a chronic inflammatory lung disease compatible with ptb extensive disease.
