I was just at my pm appt and my doc informed me that endo pharmaceutical has won the legal case on stopping other pharmaceutical companies on making the generic. Which I find is bs that they get to keep making the brand which doesn't work for the majority of pts including me. I was on opana er 30 just got bumped up to 40mg made by global pharmaceutical company. So as the pts what is there to do when you can't find the generic anywhere in the near future? I was misdiagnosed for 20 years. I've been on antipsychotics for 20 years. I've been on Atypical for maybe 8 years. I have ptsd only. I have been on Stelazine for maybe 3 years. I was on 15mg. When I first started coming off of it I would cut a 5mg pill in 1/4. After 3 months I was down 10mg..then It's been cut down to 5mg. Going from 1/2 5mg every 3 months..so now I'm at 5mg. I've had anxiety for 3 months now after going to 5mg. I'm also on 400mg of Lamictal, 4mg of Xanax, 200mg of Trazodone. I wake up with anxiety every morning to the point that I feel my heart is going to beat out of my chest most days. I have been on 400 mg. of lamotrigene for about 8 yrs for PTSD, I have had extensive therapy and they feel I no longer need them. I feel so great now I want to come off this horrific drug. I tried dropping 200 of the 400 mg. for a week and was pure pure hell. So now I am taking 150 in the morning and 150 at night. So thats a drop of 50 instead of the 200. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to cut this drug out of my life? ## Stopping it too fast can also create a risk of seizures, according to the U.S. FDA, so a slow taper is best. Hi, I recently lost my psychiatrist of seven years because he moved. I have been on klonopin for that entire time and am afraid that if I start with someone new they will take me off the klonopin because I have a history of abusing pain pills. I'm on several medications like LYRICA 150 mg 3x daily. ZANAFLEX 4mg 2tabs at night. Amitriptyline 175mg suppose to be bedtime but i take maybe 6/7 because of the other meds at bedtime, Tramadol 50 mg 2tabs 4x daily. Adderral 5mg. Xanax 1mg 1tab as needed but the way the office wrote it was once a day. Topirmate 50mg 1tab 2x daily. Zyrtec 1tab daily, i also take supplements like magnesium oxide 400mg and vit D with calcium 600mg. As I age, 40 now, I have increasingly worsening panic moments and more and more terrifying dreams. I have been on and off Xanax multiple times. Sixty five and just got the mandatory Medicare but also have a PPO since March. My previous plan, an HMO would only provide me with 40 Vicodin a month for my daily back pain which includes scoliosis, spurs, two very degenerated discs, annular tear, sciatica and some other issues if can't even remember. I have been taking Viibryd for almost two weeks. I am on the 20mg dose in the starter pack working up to 40mg. My psych switched me to it from Zoloft due to extreme blunted affect and complete loss of libido and inability to climax. I am being treated for PTSD and postpartum depression. I am very nauseous. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to ease the nausea. ## Are you taking it with or without food? I suffer from severe anxiety depression medical related PTSD and have tried just about every ssri and Effexor benzos don't calm my racing thoughts. I have been taking this drug for 7 years or around that. I love it. I was a mess, It has helped me contol my anixaty I started out at 20 mg and now at 40 mg. Because it has made me feel so much better I will not go off of them. I have a very depressive life of ups and downs PTSD. a car accident with head injury and everthing in between. I had a spinal fusion on Nov 8, 2016... 6 week checkup w/ PA on Dec 20th... Trochanteric Bursitis... Shots given in each hip... She had renewed my prescription of Hydrocodone 7.5/325 before seeing me... I was in horrible pain, told her I couldn't believe she'd switched medication strength prior to seeing me, so she prescribed original Hydrocodone 10/325 and Naproxen 500mg 2x daily...
