My husband is a stroke patient. He has been taking this drug spasm proxy prior to the stroke. He often gets seizure once in two or three months. But recently he had seizure thrice in one day. My doctor prescribed Proxym 300 for 3 weeks and thereafter SOS for my left knee pain caused by a tear in Discoid Lateral Meniscus. If the pain in my knee is tolerable can I reduce intake of the tablet to 1 week in place of 3 weeks as prescribed by the Doctor ?

A lot of help is available around but you have to go to right place. As I dont know you both are from which cities, just contact the govt. hospital nearby you. Go to psychiatry department of that hospital and ask for help. There are many programs run by govt. for helping people to get rid of drugs. Taking proxyvon is fun but coming of out once in it , big question??? If you really want to comeout of it, no matter what stop using, for 1 week you will get fever, maybe stomach aches or feel sick but after a week you will feel alright and fresh to start things, drink hot water, decrease your dose when your are finally on 2 pills in a day stop it from next day for a wekk see it will help u. i did same thing. ## Almost any medication you are on for a long period of time requires a slow taper to help minimize the withdrawal effects. If you are going through withdrawals, be sure to take in lots of liquids, it doesn't necessarily have to be hot water. Thank you, though, for posting this advice to help others. I am taking spasmo proxyvon since last 10 years. daily 12 to 20 capsules.now dextropropoxyphene is banned in india. i am worthless now can anyonyone suggest some other drug or medication. i need urgentely help...... ## You can take N10 Its more better ## take sp plus with nitrosun 10 it will give u the same effect but do less the dosage .....peace ## Try meftalspas. It's not exactly like Spasmo high, but it sure is substitute as it contains dyclomine. Also if u pop 3 meftalspas n half bottle of Rexcof. If so, it is unusual for it to cause it as a side effect. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? It's likely just not the right medication for you to use.
