besides flomax & hytrin and avodart what is there to treat BPH? ## I have BPH. I tried Avodart and found it frustrating: it was very effective in removing symptoms of BPH fast, but unable to move beyond turgid for intercourse; if climax occurred , it felt like someone strangled me down there, ie: the gun fired but no bullets. I was switched to Cialis 5mg: just as effective on BPH but slower to have an effect. Took 4 months for effects of Avodart to wear off. Gun has bullets. Sir I am S.N.Phukan 55 years old man. My prostrate is enlarged to 41 gr. Previously I took silofast-8 now doctor changed it to urimax-D at bed time. I took also Olmezest-20 for blood sugar. I am also a heart patient. This year 25th September placed a pace maker in my heart before placing pace maker I was fall down and injured in my nose. I took also ecosprin-150 and atorva-20mg for heart. How long I will take urimax-D. To day my fasting blood sugar is 199. I took insulin human mastered 30/70 20 unit before lunch and 10 unit before dinner. Again at bed time I took basolack 20 unit. I am waiting for your reply. S.N.Phukan, Assam

Ihave pressure and sugar but controlled by medication and exercise.Recently it is found in usg that the enlarge portion is 30mg. My father is a 78 year old CAD patient for the last 10 years. He also became a diabetic last year. Last week he was diagnosed as having TB as well. A couple of days ago, he could not urinate. Prostrate was found to be moderately enlarged earlier. Now he is on catheter for the last 2 days. He is taking Cardivas 3.125, Cardace 2.5, Flavedon MR, Rosave 20, Deplatt A 75, AKT 4, Rantac 150, Urimax, and Aldactone (25). Are these medicines appropriate or should I stop any of these medicines.

zolodex is goserelin(sp?) is an IV I receive every 3 mo for malignant neoplasm of prostrate with bone metastases: spine, legs, ankles, hip and abdominal area and ribs. this medication retards the mfr testosterone, which seems to fan the fire of my cancer. How long is zolodex effective? What would happen if I discontinued these IV's (which has plenty side effects)? Would it shorten my life? My psa is now around 16. In Feb 2013 it was over 600. I have enlarged prostrate for last 5 yrs. In Sonography its size varied from 22 to 44 gms. Recently I have started very urgent urge to urinate, though quantity of urine is not much. I do not find difficulty in passing urine though. I am also having high blood pressure fro which I am taking Amlopress AT, Tozaar R-5 , Arkamin thrice, and Tide 10 mg. I am 60 years old. I have simple prostrate enlargement and the urologist advised for surgery.and advised me to take alfoo 10 mg till surgery. Suffering from benign prostrate problem with enlarged prostrate. Doctor has prescribed Urimax as well as Urimax D. Dr subscribe me to use nexto plus, thinking i am nervous or thinking much after found i have prostrate enlargement. I was on concor 5 and lnblock 20 in the morning with aquazide 12.5 (half in the morning) and minipress 2.5 xl and alfusin d for my prostrate at night. My blood pressure was fine for three years but suddenly it shot to 170/97. The dr has changed my medication now to metasartan (40/50) from concor. I am worried that this may further disturb my blood pressure levels? ## Your blood pressure will always fluctuate, depending on your activity levels, the time of day it is checked, what you've eaten, and etc. It will never stay at one steady level all the time.
