Four (4) days ago I had my 2nd protate biopsy. The 1st one was four (4) years ago. This one has been more problematic. While still on the table after the 14 samples were taken, I became nauseated, dizzy and broke out in s cold sweat. Low sugar was blamed. Was given a tootsie pop to eat and within ten (10) minutes, I was feeling much better. Yesterday (3 days post-biopsy) I mowed my grass, on the lawn tractor for two hours. I came in to shower. When I urinated, there was much higher concentration of bright red blood in it. I'm think the bouncing on the lawn tractor aggravated the recently-invaded prostate tissue. Anyone have any thoughts? Am waiting, now, for biopsy results. If positive, this will end my every 3-months TESTOPEL implantation.

I used to urinate frequently in the night. With this complaint I went to a urologist. That time retention of urine in the bladder (Ultrasound scanning) was found to be around 40cc. Then I was prescribed Dynosper(Tamsulosin 0.4mg). Used it for about 4 months. I did not have any problem. Meanwhile I found that if I stop taking water around 2 hrs before going to bed, the problem of frequent urination stopped. Then I discontinued the tablet. I did not feel it as a problem. Two months ago, approached urologist with the complaint of frequent urination in the day time. Not able to empty the bladder at a stretch etc.. Then my urine flow was analyzed. It was 4cc at maximum followed by a graph related to dripping of urine. Then I am prescribed Flotral-D (Alfuzocin10mg +dusteride 0.4 mg). I am usi...

I'm to have a prostate biopsy soon which I understand is rather painful and I'm wondering if two Percocet 7.5-325 prior to the procedure would help reduce the pain? I will also be given valium by the Dr. ## You shouldn't take anything, unless the doctor instructs you to do so. Anyone in the know whether or not progesterone creme can be helpful in men with prostate maladies? ## I climax early and my sperms are not strong/powerful and they are eaching as if they"ve got an acid, so my partner doesn't fill anything. what can I use to stop that? ## @Bob, From what I've been reading, Progesterone is actually vital for maintaining good health in men. But when we get older we don't produce as much, which may be linked to various prostate problems... depending on the underlying cause of it. Diet plays an important role too. Because we don't know the underlying cause of your prostate maladies, I think deciding on whether or not to supplement with Progesterone would be probably better determined by a combination of you and your doctor or urologist...
