it has been suggested that i take gabapentine for peripheral neuropathy. I also take thyroxine - are there any adverse interactions between the two. although gabapentine may ease nerve pain - will it affect my loss of proprioception and balance, which is my greatest concern. ## Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain.
