Is Pliva 895 blue pill 20mg of propranalol ? ## The tablet manufactured by Pliva that is blue and contains 20mgs of Propranolol has the marking PLIVA 468 on it. Learn more Propranolol information here. Who told you that this one contained Propranolol? Are you certain the marking is PLIVA 895? ## Reading the 468 upside down looks like 895, glad I have the right med after all, thank you so much! So glad I rechecked the 4 imprint wasn't real clear.

Re. person with hair loss - I have been on propranalol and omeprazole for a few weeks now and prior to these drugs have suffered hair loss for a few years so can't blame the new drugs. Have taken levothyroxine and atvorstatin for years and wonder if one or both these could be the culprit. I suppose no drugs are without side effects. ## That is correct, all drugs carry the risk of causing side effects, it's just the nature of what happens, when we add a chemical to the body to try to correct a problem. Of the ones you've list, both the Propranolol and the Levothyroxine can cause hair loss, as reported by the U.S. FDA. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination. Is there anything else I can help with?

can this medicine help with migranes after it started two days ago? ## Hi just thought I'd help. As I used to take 80mg propranalol I'm 27 and was takin them for 3 years.ur answer ur question is yes they help with ur migrains and also if u don't take them regulary they can give u migrains they also slow ur metabolism. Down witch makes u gain weight.I gained 4 stone and got bad migrains from them once I stopped they can be addictive. Few tips when coming of them. I have taken Escitolopram for 7 years and put on a lot of weight over 2 stone. Can not be found at any chemist in Bloemfontein. Are there any available meds that will do the same work? ## The drug maker Aspen say that it will only be available again from the end of March, 2015. They gave no reason for the shortage, but a pharmacist told me that it has to do with the availability of the Propranalol molecules. You can try Inderal. It is more expensive, but it is the original commercial drug that Pur-Bloka is based on. It didn't work for me though. ## Thanx for reply. Inderal and indoblock is also not avalable in Bloemfontein. my son started taking clozapine a month ago. He is supposed to be taking 300mg a day in three segments. I can't even get him awake long enough to take all of it. When i tried to give him the 200 at nite he gets sick and throws up. He won't eat befor he takes it either, very rebellious. He also takes depakote, xanax, propranalol and paxil. He has high anxiety levels and is still delusional. He wants to be delusional when it is fun, but it's not always fun.He is totally secluded except for his family, which is only mom,dad and sister. He has no interest in nothing since he started taking it. ## Have you talked to his doctor about these issues? I'm not a doctor myself, but from what I know about medications, it certainly sounds like he might need some medication adjustments...

I just wanted to know if there are any foods that are dangerous to eat while taking this medication? ## I didn't find anything listed, nor have I heard of any warnings between foods and this class of medications, Propranolol is a beta blocker. However, if you are taking it for high blood pressure, you should be watching your salt intake and possibly your fat intake, if your doctor has instructed you to do so.
