they are a hot pink pill, one side has the numbers 1772 and the other side has the letter M inside a square shape. Thanks ## This is a generic for Darvocet N100, a very mild narcotic analgesic. ## what do those numbers mean (100-650)and also how many mg are they? ## Those numbers are the milligrams. The 650 is the mgs of Acetaminophen in this and the 100 is the mgs of Propoxyphene in it, this is the narcotic ingredient.

PAIN PILL,PINKISH IN COLOR HORSEPILL ## If you are certain that is what this is, since you didn't post the pill imprint, this would be a generic for the mild narcotic pain reliever Darvocet, the strongest one available. can you get a severe rash and itiching from taking propoxyphen apap 100 650 ## This would be Propoxyphene with Acetaminophen, a generic for Darvocet. This is a very mild narcotic pain reliever and yes, if you are allergic to either one of the ingredients, that can happen. Have you consulted your doctor about this, yet? Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Has not given me any relief. I will discontinue taking drug and talk with my doctor. ## I was put on PROPOXY - N/APAP 100-650 TAB after i had a Serotonin Syndrome effect from Tramadol that I was taking for nerve pain from a Ganglion that I have on my wrist. Still no relief from this pain. One almost killed me and the other is not strong enough.

pink oblong pill says66 on side and890 on other side ## I located a pill with similar markings, and it's also pink and oblong shaped. Click here to see a picture of the pill. Substituted for DARVOCET-N 100 TAB. Was prescribed for side stomach pain, but it made me very drowzy. What exactly is this pill for? ## This is a generic for Darvocet, the APAP is simply medical speak for 650mgs of Acetaminophen and the other ingredient is 100mgs of Propoxyphene. THIS IS A MILD NARCOTIC pain reliever, so that is my guess as to why it made you so drowsy, that is a very normal side effect. Others that you might experience include: nausea, dry mouth and constipation.

If i take a hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5/500 mg an hour or 2 before going to sleep, will it help me sleep. The doctor gave me the Vicodin to hrlp my back pain. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea and constipation. ## what drug can be substituted for the recalled Darvocet 10-650? ## Unfortunately, there are no real substitutes for Darvocet N 100; the medical establishment through no fault of their own, tells people to try this one or that one etc. This medication was for mild to moderate pain, and the reason it was popular was that people took it who didn't want a "high", it allowed them to function, and it relieved their pain.(my opinion).

I am having severe back pain. can I take 2 tablets at night? One is not helping. ## Well, you should be made aware that all products containing Propoxyphene have been pulled from the U.S. market by the FDA. It has been shown to cause severe cardiac problems, some of which, have even been fatal. In light of this, I have to say no, it is not safe to use and you should consult your doctor for an alternative and any remaining tablets of this medication should be properly disposed of.
