Farmapram 2mg, filled a prescription at ABC Pharmacy in Nuevo Progreso. Can anyone provide information on them please? Are these the same as domestic US medications? ## From what I could gather, Farmapram 2mg is allegedly a form of Alprazolam 2mg from Mexico. I don't know if your pill has any markings, but another Farmapram 1mg tablet I came across with IFA imprinted on one side and scored on the other, was manufactured by Investigación Farmacéutica, Mexico. Unfortunately I haven't heard of this company before so I'm unable to offer a personal opinion on their legitimacy. I would travel to the Mexican border cities. The only safe Mexican town is Progreso. It is south of Weslaco TX. The Mexican border is a true war zone and you have to be very careful. You should be able to buy in any Mexican pharmacy. Going through customs is an experience but not a problem the times I have gone.

Well what I'm finding suggests that Lonol is still available over-the-counter there. Apparently it's being manufactured in Mexico by a company called Boehringer Ingelheim. However, I don't think you'd be able to find it anywhere in the US, since the product itself is not made here.
