I'm using trust pills for 2yrs now, I only took 3 tablets on my recent pack then I forgot to take them for 3 days. Since I suddenly stop taking them, I had a breakthrough bleeding, it's my 3rd day already. My question is, should I continue the recent pack or should I have to start with a new pack? Does continuing or starting to take the active pill again stop my breakthrough bleeding? ## I have a question on how to use trust pills.. i start using trust pills from the first day of my menses and continually using it and after my mens stopped (after 5 days), we had unprotected intercourse but i continually using pills let say two weeks..will I have nothing to worry about? will i not get pregnant? ## What if my bf and I had intercourse during my 7 days of pill free days, do I need t...

do i need to use another contraceptive like condom for the first week of changing my pills to trust pills ## You mean changing from a different brand of pills to the Trust pills? No, if you're already taking one, then you can just make a smooth transition and start taking the Trust pills in place of your old ones and you will still remain protected against pregnancy. It's only if you switch from a different form, such as if you were getting the shots and switched to the pills, then you may need to use backup method of contraception for awhile, or if you are new to taking them. You should double check this information with your doctor to be certain, but this is normally how its down. ## nagtke po q ng lady pils dnatnan n po aq nung nsa#23 ininum q pu ung nti2rang 5 hbng my period...

Hi i did womb scrub so i cant't stop bleeding i dont no why? ## Have you contacted your doctor? That is the most important thing to do. I really wish I could help, but what I can do in a post over the Internet is very limited and I am not a doctor that is familiar with you and your medical history. There are many reasons it could be happening, such as a hormonal imbalance or an incomplete/unsuccessful procedure, but for your own safety, you need to see a doctor as soon as you can, to get to the root of the problem.

I haven't been on Contravene for months as I lost my 35 pounds and maintained it. During the holidays I picked up some weight. Just took two today and forgot I am having a root canal in 30 hours. Should I be okay? Afraid it will block the pain shots he gives me to do the work on me. ## @Dental Patient, Is your dentist also aware that you're taking any prescriptions? If not, I think it would be important to inform them if not but for your own safety; especially if something they administer has a possibility of interacting. Umm.edu's drug interaction checker mentions that Contrave may decrease the effectiveness of opioid medication. According to NIH.gov, "the average elimination half-life of Naltrexone (one of the active ingredients in Contrave) is four hours, and the mean...

No scale in existence can measure nanograms so how do they arrive at such invisible, unmeasurable amounts. Please describe the entire test procedure. I believe it is sheer guesswork and biased blind surveys. ## Can anyone describe the details of laboratory testing?

I'm on 2nd week of Contrave 1 pill Am 1 pill pm. I have had a minor procedure which requires Norco 325/7.5. Is it's ok to take. (ER prescribed) yes I told them what medicine I was taking. I also was on Vyvanse 40mg and Kolopin(as needed), when my Dr perscribed Contrave ? ## I stopped the Vyvanse due to me seeing it had a major side effect risk. The started the contrave 3 days later to be safe. ## The Naltrexone in the Contrave will most likely prevent the Hydrocodone in the Norco in working, so it isn't likely that it will help with pain, if you are still taking Contrave. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. Have you taken any, yet? If so, what has ...

I am in the process in ordering bulk 10mm Methadone ## This website doesn't manufacture, nor sell any medications, it is an information only website. Additionally, since Methadone is a narcotic, in order to purchase in bulk, you have to be ordering for a licensed pharmacy or medical facility and even then there are limits to how much can be purchased. How can I safely stop taking amphetamine salts. I am currently taking 20 mg a day. My age is 66, I am female. ## How long have you been on them? To avoid the worst withdrawal effects, the best idea is usually to slowly taper off of them, by gradually reducing the dose, over several weeks. Have you consulted your doctor?

I have been prescribed this medicine after my EPS + RFA procedure. In November 2013 I had an episode of PSVT which was followed by skipping of heart beat. I was advise EPS + RFA which I underwent on 12th August 2014. But still my problem of missed heart beat has not stopped, Neither the procedure nor the medicine has worked.

Ketorolac is used for surgical procedures, whilst Tramadol is used 'before' surgical procedures and after the procedure's done the patient can still release a bowel movement for relief from the procedure itself... ## That is not always the case. The FDA classifies Ketorolac as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. However, Tramadol is classified as an opioid, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Additionally, which medication, if any, is required before or after surgery can depend on the require...

Anyone know how to safely get off eliquis and back on just aspirin? ## Hi cynthia, Depending on how long you've been on Eliquis (Apixaban) for, I think it would be wise to talk to your doctor about developing some sort of tapering schedule that reduces any risk of serious withdrawal symptoms. According to ucsd.edu, apparently Eliquis comes with a "black box warning label" regarding its withdrawals in patients with A-Fib (atrial fibrillation); with some articles stating that Eliquis may trigger a stroke if suddenly stopped. So working closely with your doctor to avoid that risk seems to me like it should be first priority. Does anyone else here have personal experience coming off Eliquis who can offer some pointers on what to expect? ## Hi Cynthia I have also come off Elequis...

If I can't take any aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs 5 days before a procedure, can I still take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325? ## You should be able to take it, unless you have been told not to do so, since it does not contain Aspirin, or any other anti-inflammatory. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Are you on any other medications? ## I had my second de dimer blood test last week ,it was 5.3 my GP said that 5 or under would have been a better result, I have to go for another de dimer in two weeks, I am currently on Cartia 100mg since three weeks the de dimer at that time was 3. I still say do not to come off Xarelto straight away on to Aspir...

I've been told by my haematologist that I have to take xarelto for life now. ## Hello, Patrick! How are you doing? Have you been instructed to stop it for a few days? If so, that is what you should do, for your own safety. Then resume taking it, after the study is done. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. ## I had to inject innohep into my stomach for 2 days prior to my image guided injections in my neck. In 2009, I went to have a "simple elective procedure." I ended up almost dying. I was diagnosed with Malignant Hyperthermia. Is it safe to take Seroquel? They wanted me to go to UCLA for further testing, I was told that it involved quite a bit of pain. I chose not to go through with it. Not sure what I should avoid. Any suggestions? ## Hi Stephanie, Based on my research, some people have actually reported that Seroquel may cause Malignant Hyperthermia. I did read about someone's son losing their life due to what I just mentioned. Apparently, Seroquel can effect the Hypothermus Gland, causing the body to reach core temps. of 110 degrees. I am a person who has battled with addiction my whole life. At age 32 now I'm now getting a handle on the situation a little bit at a time.
