Why is it so hard to find 60 mg fexofenadine on shelves anywhere. The only thing I can find generic or otherwise is 180 mg, 24 hour. ## Hello, SJW! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure why you can't find it, since it is an over the counter product, shortages are not required to be reported. Have you tried asking your pharmacist? They may know more. This is a generic for Allegra, which is used to treat allergies and which may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and drowsiness. It could even be that the 60mg dosage just doesn't sell as much as the other, so it may not be viable for most stores to keep it in stock.

Neurologist doctor prescribed Gabantin 300 twice a daty for Neuropathy burning legs-from toe to hip. along with Felicita OD once a day. after taking more than four years no benefit yet noticed. ## My neurologist raised my dosage to 1800 mgs per day. If you get it in the 300 mg thats 3 in the morning and 3 at night. Another thing if you have problms paying for it check out Pfizer's programs. Is the generic for Allegra D ( 60/120 mg) still made and is it a prescription medication? ## Hi Bud, The generic name for Allegra D is Fexofenadine + Pseudoephedrine; and from what I could gather, it is still manufactured, but only available with your doctor's prescription. I'm not sure why this is (being that Allegra D is now available OTC), so you'd probably have to contact your doctor for more details on that. I also found additional information stating that it may have already become an over-the-counter medication as of this year (I don't know however if this statement applies to the generic version or not, but I don't see why it wouldn't): "Allegra-D is a combination product containing fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine in strengths of 60/120mg and 180/240...

I tapered up to 1800 mg on a sample pack and my Dr. didn't listen & called in Gabapentin. I tried that off & on for a few years post chemo. (Peripheral Neuropathy). I then went cold turkey to about 2-3 '300' mg pills for a couple of days, felt that swirly headed silly almost tipsy feeling & decided to just stop the drug. It has never helped my PN. And an online msg. board has many posts about Gralise being a big joke. Maybe it is??? I'm having some pain relief from Cymbalta, but probably only 75% back pain relief.
