How does this medication cypron work? What is it indicated for? Are there any side effects? ## Hi ikem, According to Wiki, Cypron (cyproterone) is a steroidal anti-androgen that apparently was "never marketed". I don't know if this is still the case, but after reading that, I'm curious to know how or if you managed to get it prescribed? Its indications state that it is intended for use as hormone therapy for treating certain types of cancer, but also has a number of other uses geared around its progestational properties (i.e. severe acne, or hirsutism in females) As far as side effects are concerned, there are honestly too many to list on here without writing a small children's book Lol. But to name a few that I came across: hair loss, weight gain, loss of libido, we...

i wanted a natural hormone replacement. is this considered 'natural'? what are side effects? ## TRI-EST PROG contains the active ingredients estrogen/progesterone. Some information that I've gathered regarding whether or not this is a natural product, states the following: "Natural Progesterone is NOT prescription Progestin. Natural Progesterone is bioidentical to the hormones in your body. Prescription Progestins are chemically modified progesterones (Progestins) so as to be patented and thus can be sold as expensive patented drugs. Natural Progesterone cannot be patented because it is found in nature." I did not menstruate in Oct, and after testing negative in Pregnancy I was put on Provera pill for10 days. On the 3rd day off the pill I had light bleed for two days. enough to fill 2 pantyliners (brown blood). I was put on a contraceptive pill on Nov. 27 till now Jan. 1,2017. I am having pregnancy symptoms sore breast and more. My question is how certain and accurate that notion if "you bleed from provera, you're not pregnant?" regardless if its a light bleed that only lasted for a 2 days? please reply there were lot of posted question but no replies.

Early this year I agreed to place a stent in one of the arteries the consultant said was blocked. After having done it, my condition got worse than earlier - in that I started getting tired sooner as I walked and talked, I also began to get chocked as I tried to kneel down to straighten the shoes! Then, other symptoms like mouth full of blood early in the morning, at one time blood through male-tool-tip! And so on. Saw the doctor again with the above symptoms, he said everything was fine. I had to reduce the JUSPRIN to150 instead of 300? (Why had he not told me in the beginning?) My question is that should I continue to take the four medicines he has prescribed "to continue" for life long, or should I discontinue sooner or later, which again he might have forgotten to tell me!? ...

I also had recovered and was off Diabetes meds and now I'm back on them cause of the Prozac too. So it made my reading high and the doctor told me it didn't. Prozac causes my blood pressure to go up too. ## Is anyone on this thread still ...

I am also on Casprin 100mg and high blood pressure pill (Atenolol 100mg daily). Is the combined "mix" OK? ## I'm sorry, what medication did you mean by one tab of the above? You posted this under the Atenolol forums. Without knowing what medication you are talking about for cholesterol, I can't check any information on that one, for you. Also make sure you have a valid prescription handy. Hope this helps and good luck!
