I have had pcod since 2009. I am always having irregular periods also got hypothyroidism. Since the last 3 months I am having little bleeding daily. I consulted with one gynecologist. She had given primolut 10 mg for 5 days, 2 times daily. Nothing happened until the 3rd day. From the 3rd day I started menstruation, with very painful cramps. I could not get up from the pain. At last I took panadol (paracetamol) for 2 days. The pain and cramping is now ok. But the bleeding is increasing with heavy clotted blood (like the size of a lemon). I am really got tired. I had period bleeding 3 times in a month, it means every 15 days and it finished after 3 days as usual. The doctor suggest that I take 2 Primolut 5 mg tablets for 10 days. I have still bleeding . How many tablet should I takethat bleeding stop? ## Every 15 days would not be 3 times a month, since no month has more than 31 days. Has there been any change in the bleeding? How long have you been bleeding and how heavy is it? The NIH lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and irregular menstrual cycles.

I haven't had periods for 9 months my doctor put me on primolut n 5 mg my breasts are very sore and have lumps the doctor did a blood test for pregnancy but it was negative I can not take the pain of my breasts what should I do what can be wrong? ## My period is delayed for 2 months..I have taken Primlout tablets..still haven't got periods. I have been diagnoised with PCOD 5 years back. Before 3 years, i had undergone laproscopic surgery for Rt. Ovary Torsion where the Rt. ovary was also treated for cysts. After this laproscopic surgery, i am facing endometriosis problem - irregular periods, heavy and non-stop bleeding. I was given harmone tablets for the last 3 years (Regestrone, Primolut-N).
