I would just like to know the cost of this medication. I take it for my blood pressure. I pay $52.00 a month for a dug prescribtion plan and was paying $7.00 a month co-pay. Now they want to rise it to $14.00 a month. I just want to know if I can, or nee to do something about this. ## The price can vary from pharmacy to pharmacy, it also depends on the amount you are buying, as well as your insurance. Unfortunately, I don't have that information to help you. Have you tried checking with other pharmacies in your area? Have you checked with your prescription plan to see if anything has changed? My sources list the price for 30 tablets as anywhere from $60 to $65, depending on the dosage.

looking for the price for Arithri-D. want to know price before ordering. ## First, you should be informed that Arthri-D is a supplement, not an actual medication, therefore it has not actually been proven to help with anything. Their website lists the ingredients as: Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Magnesium, NAG, Chondroitin, Termeric, Rice Flour, Boswella, Ashwagandha, Bromelain, Evening Primrose Oil, Green Lipped Muscle and Hyaluronic Acid. As to the price, those who use our site and have called them have reported that it ranges from $50 to $60 a bottle, which is rather expensive for a vitamin supplement product. When you order, you are also enrolled in a recurring shipment plan, which is automatically billed to your credit card each month. Are there any other comments or questions?

The pamphlet at the dr said the cost would be about $70 per month. I had to pay $134 the first month, and it will be about $240 on maintainence? What is everyone else paying? ## Hello, Pam! How are you? That pamphlet was referring to their saving's card, it's available on the Contrave website. You have to print it out and take it to the pharmacy with you. It lowers the cost of the first two fills to $70 and then $60 after that. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Contrave as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with?

Where can I find mosegor vita syrup here in america and how much does it cost? ## Mosegor vita syrup appears to be a product of the Philippines and therefore I don't think it'll be easy to find here in America. However, one thing you can do as an alternative would be to compile the list of ingredients that it's comprised of and take it into a local compounding pharmacy to see if they can formulate it for you. From what I could gather, the ingredients are as follows [Per 5 mL]: Pizotifen hydrogen maleate 0.5 mg, vitamin B1 3 mg, vitamin B2 3.2 mg, vitamin B6 2.4 mg, nicotinamide 19 mg There's also another related discussion thread here that you may want to have a look at regarding its use and availability: [1]. mosegor-vita I hope this helps and wish you the best of luck ...

I have been taking Metanx for about 6 months and it was working ok. I Recently lost my job and when I went to my Poditrist he told me of a new medicine that can save me a lot of money. So I decided to go to my pharmacist and get it. The name of the medicine is Folinic Plus. It cost me $16.00 for 30 tablets. What a savings! I also like the tablet form. I'm hoping it works. ## Hello, Sparky! How are you? Thank you for your very valuable post. Many people have had complaints about the price of Metanx. Why has the cost of this 50 year old drug in its generic form increased 4x since last year? ## Does it cause a head itch? ## Price changes are really due to supply and demand, just as with any other product. Neither the FDA, nor the NIH set any particular price point, or ceiling, so the more a drug is prescribe the higher the price usually goes. How much is being charged for it, now? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

I just got my prescription filled at Walmard and it used to cost $10.00 for a three month supply of 90 pills. I now get 45 pills (because I'm cutting them in half) and the prescription was $21.70 reduced from $35.02 by my insurance. How can half as many pills cost well over twice as much as before? ## Hello, Annie! How are you? Prices can change, it's basically just a matter of supply and demand. There's really no other explanation for it. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, increased urination and hypotension. I've suffered from dermatitis herpetaphormis for 35 years. The price of Dapsone has gone through the roof. Jacobus was the only maker for years. Now other companies are making the drug. Correct? My pharmacist says no, but I saw different manufacturers. Is there a buyer's club or something? I must have this but cant afford the new increase in price. Can someone help me? ## No, there is no buyers club, but yes, you are correct, the tablets are being manufactured by 3 other companies, Fera Pharmaceuticals, Nsotrum Laboratories, and Virtus Pharmaceuticals, according to NIH listings. Have you tried a different pharmacy? Another one might be more helpful regarding checking various prices for you. What is your current pharmacy charging for it?

My prescriber wants me to take a very expensive psych med called Rexulti (~$1,100/mth), and tells me that Medicaid won't drop me for doing so. If you know Utah politics, they are still fighting ACA Medicaid Expansion and finding ways to reduce Medicaid programs such as PCN. I feel that if I take such an expensive medication, that puts a target on my back to be dropped at the first excuse. The state Medicaid office and pharmacies will not tell me how much each is paying, so I am left to guess if they have worked the price down, or if it's the bullet I think it is. As an alternative, I am thinking of taking its analog Abilify (aririprazole). But the problem is the same, they won't disclose pricing and Utah Medicaid refuses to pay outside Utah such as a Canadian pharmacy that s...

On physcian's advice, I have taken OTC Cardiotek for many years. The price has more than doubled since I started taking it - from about $35 to almost $90. TRICARE formulary lists two prescription versions, only one of which is available through the TRICARE mail order pharmacy. The difference is a hyphen. CARDIOTEK-RX is available; CARDIOTEK RX is not. I know that CARDIOTEK RX is manufactured by SJ Pharmaceuticals. Does anyone know who makes CARDIOTEK-RX? ## It is the same exact thing, made by the same company. ## Cardiotek and Cardiotek-RX are different by what is in them. The price is the same for either.
