I am presently using prexim 4mg for blood pressure, and experiencing a slight throat irritation causing me to cough now and again. is this a normal side effect/ and if so why / and what is causing this to happen/ ## Hello, Greg! And dr prefer prexim becauce of angiodema and brongismaAlready submit ## Prexim is list as containing Cefexime, which is an antibiotic, it is not used to treat high blood pressure. Can you all double check the name and post back? The NIH lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea.
