Hello, I just found this forum. First off... I live in eastern kentucky and am wondering if anyone could give me some advice. My doctor just suddenly passed away and has left all of his patients with no way to get their prescriptions. It was a private practice with no other doctors working with him, just a NP to assist. I've been on the same medication ... same dose same amount for years with no issues as far as drug panels or anything. I've undergone multiple procedures and surgeries as well. I am a legit chronic pain patient with multiple health problems and I need a new doctor. I went to 1 doctor whose PA saw me, he didn't assess me, refused my medical records, cut my medication dosage to way less than even half of what Ive been on for years. He told me the doctor had alr...

Has Atelvia caused a rash around the eyes or swelling of the eyes on anyone? My mother has been taking it for six weeks and woke up one morning this week with a rash and with her eyes red and swollen. I took her to her internist (who was not the prescriber of the medicine) twice this week, and she thinks that it is a build up of Atelvia. I am to take her to the arthritis doctor next week. The problem is that I had given her the weekly pill again before I saw the internist so I could not take her off for another week. ## Actually, those are symptoms of a severe allergic reaction and she needs to see someone right away for it and stop using the medication. It is warned about in the allergic reactions section of the patient advisory monograph. Has she improved any? You should also make sur...

Hi - I get a script of klonopin and fill them at Acme - which was just filled on Nov 2nd and paid cash because I have no insurance. I just saw my doctor today. Can I go to a family Pharmacy and get my new script filled, paying with cash without my other script being detected? ## May I ask what State you are in? Most states in the US have a prescription drug monitoring program in place for medications falling within DEA Schedules II and higher [1]. Klonopin (Clonazepam) falls into DEA schedule IV [2], so it is likely being monitored. I don't think they go off payment method so much as the prescriber (doctor) and patient's name. Hope this helps! I'd bought Meloxicam 7.5mg on Dec.15-2014. I would like to know if there is no harm to use it now? Thanks for any help. My concern is to know the expiration date of pills sold in 2014. ## Sorry to not reply from since because I'm not in good shape. I'm not in good shape and I'm in hospitals and laboratories every day of the week. I saw my family doctor and prescriber of Meloxicam. He preferred to give me another prescription without explanation. My advice is to see the doctor. Thank you for your help and sorry for not being useful to others. DEDE ## Hello Dede, Sorry tell you but I don't have the answer to your question but I can provide you with some information on how you can get the answer. On the bottle or package that you have there should be a batch number. The...
