I just moved to San diego and I just got insured, so now I can actually afford to get prescribed adderall. But I used to get a prescription for 20s and I want to be able to find someone or some place that will prescribe that dose again. Thank you. ## Hello, Dagny! How are you? There is no way to know if a doctor will prescribe anything for you and, if they do, what the dosage will be. The only thing you can do is set up an appointment with a doctor, make sure they get a copy of your current medical records and then discuss your treatment options at the appointment. The FDA lists Adderall as being a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability,...

Looking for a dr near Scranton pa that won't give me a hard time prescribing it ## Hello, Mike! How are you? It is a controlled substance that can be habit forming, so doctors have no choice but to be careful about who they prescribe it to. Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require a medication such a this on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. What happened with the doctor that was prescribing it for you? ## Thanks, I don't think I'm going to go that route, I just have bad anxiety and someone said that would help

NEED A DOC IN NJ. THAT WILL PRESCRIBE FOR SURE. I fit all the symptoms for it. but i need it fast. idk if a psychiatrist is better or my regular doc. ## Do you have a regular doctor that you use? If so, it would be best to go through them for the diagnosis and treatment options. You're really not going to get a doctor that's just going to let you walk in with a self-diagnosis and demand to a medication that's a controlled substance. Learn more Adderall details here.

Can you plz tell me a doc in langhorne,Levittown,Holland area in pa that will prescribe adderall? My primary thinks I need it and I'm having difficulty finding someone ## Hello, Tiffany! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Why doesn't your primary just refer you another doctor? And some important advice, when calling specialists, is to not ask them about prescribing it, because they will view that as being drug seeking behavior. You need to actually set up an appointment, then discuss your treatment options. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood swings, insomnia, anorexia ...

I just moved to San Antonio and have all my records from my previous doctor, including my diagnosis as ADD and prescriptions. What I am having trouble is finding a doctor who can prescribe on the Triple Script form (or whatever). Anyone have any recommendations? I'm about to literally go door to door and start asking A) can you prescribe controlled substances, B) Do you take my insurance and C) when's the next appointment? Have been out for weeks and feeling rather spacey. ## Did you ever get an answer? Just moved to San Antonio and need the same thing. Thank you!

I've been reading, and posting about Adderall, specifically Amphetamine Salts vs. Amphetamine IR. I think I need to mention that I was prescribed Adderall for depression, not ADD. ## Hi Wendy, Thanks for sharing your experience with Adderall. How effective do you find it to be for managing symptoms of depression? I've never heard of anyone being prescribed it for that purpose, but I can imagine how a boost in energy and being more productive during the day might take away some of those gloomy feelings...especially during this time of year when people are just trying to stay warm inside their home. Has anyone else tried it for depression and what are your thoughts? ## I beleive I was on the Mayo Clinic website looking up Adderall when I noticed it was indicated for depression. My...

I'm also new to Farmington and need to find a doctor to refill my adderall. Could someone please help me? Thank you !!!' ## Hello, Rhodes76! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis. PCPs can no longer prescribe them. The best thing to do would be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone. That would most likely be the fastest and easiest way to get the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This mediation carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, irritability and anorexia. ## This is not true! Any MD DO or even physician...

Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to have it prescribed by a specialist, now. Thus, your new PCP will likely refer you to someone else and telling them shouldn't be an issue, if they already have a copy of your medical records, then it's in there and they already know, they likely just don't realize that you're out. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and anorexia. Is t...

I've recently been prescribed Adderall by my family doctor, 10mg IR once a day. I'm a week in and noticed very little if any real benefit. I'm leary of going back and talking to her because I know so many abuse it and don't want to appear like a drug seeker. Should I wait for my next month follow up or do you think a phone call would be appropriate. I noticed some very mild improvements but they quickly subsided a couple hours in and left me slightly tired. It seems slightly counterproductive to take them when I'm left worse off than I started. I'm not comfortable increasing my own dose even tho I know many take much higher doses several times a day. I'm not sure what to do about the doctor or my dose. I've never taken a medicine that lasted an entire day...

I was diagnosed with ADHD when i was 9 yr old (24 now). I took concerta from then until i was a freshmen in high school and stopped myself. In college, as school became harder, i started again. I was prescribed adderall tablets by my doctor, and I have been taking that until September 2014. So for about 4 years off and on, which it was off and on because of appointment scheduling and insurance reasons. I recently had to stop because of the change in the controlled substances act and had to be re diagnosed by a psychiatrist in order for him to prescribe the medication. After his assessment he said he would prescribe concerta. I know from experience this has worked for me(most recent); and i know the side effects it has on my body, and i am used to those side effects. So with light of the...

Adderall is a controlled substance that has addictive potential, so if you're contacting doctors and asking them to prescribe it, they are going view that as being drug seeking behavior and refuse.
