I have a twelve year old son with cystic fibrosis recently prescribed Prednisone 20mg. The prescription is to take 2 tablets twice a day. Does this mean take 2 tablets in the morning and two in the evening? ## You should check with his doctor or pharmacist to be certain, but going by the usual pharmaceutical directions, yes, it that normally means you should give him 2 tablets at each dosing. Otherwise, it should say take one tablet, twice daily, or something similar. Prednisone is a steroid class medication, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, weight gain and fluid retention. I am taking Lisinopril 20 along with 11 other medications. I had a major heart attack 6 years ago (but doing great now), have diabetes 2, and narcolepsy. I am really fighting the daytime sleepiness to the point that it is negatively affecting my life. I see where it can cause drowsiness, so I am trying to see if there is an alternative that does not cause drowsiness (I am doing this for all meds that have that warning as well) before I go to the doctor so I have something to present. Thank you for listening ## In your case, it is really hard to say what is causing the drowsiness, it may be one of your medications, or it could be your heart, your diabetes or just the narcolepsy. Thus, I am very glad to hear you'll be consulting your doctor. I am not sure what else you are on, but bei...

Would like to know if you get leg cramps following taking Torsimide, Also was told that Fluid pills, namely Lasix is dangerous when taken with blood pressure meds,(Enalaprel)... Would appreciate any infor. Thanks ## There are dangers associated with combining them, but they happen very rarely and diuretics are often combined with blood pressure medications, the dangers are most often associated with people that have severe, active cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure. I bounce between two Wal-Mart pharmacy's (a few miles apart). My regular Wal-Mart pharmacy has not had my prescription of OxyCODONE more than three times in the past 36 mounts (3 years) It seems to be very lazy pharmacy employees. These two of three (all three) Wal-Marts in my city, dispense different medications for the same prescription. I cannot get a straight answer from any of their employees why they dispense different medications from the same pharmacy group. I believe the KVK activate quickly but do not last as long as the RHO. The RHO seem to work a little longer but not as strong. Beside constipation, side effects are small. But I am running into problems as the medications are not working for a long. The pain relief is not as powerful as 6 months ago. My doctor, a very go...
