My mom has been on prenisone (5mg-20mg) for over five years now for the treatment of fibromyalgia. First the doctor thought it could be polymyaglia, but when the symptoms never got better he diagnosed her to have fibromyalgia. Her pain is all throughout her body and sometimes feels like she can't get out of bed do to sore muscles and joints. She is constantly bruised not knowing how she got them. My husband was diagnosed with lupus in july 2007. he was put on prenisone and then in January 2008 he started on cellcept. after this many months he started with diareha. he had a colonoscopy to rule out other problems. the doctor was sure that the diarehia was from the cellcelp. he stopped the cellcept this past friday. will my husband have withdrawal and will the diarehia stop. should they start another type of therapy in place of the cellcep. ## I have been on cellcept for nearly 5 years now(kidney transplant). Your husband's diareha can be from the cellcept. I went off of cellcept when I got pregnant with my son. After I had him I had to go back on cellcept and I got diareha, I remember when I first started cellcept I had it also. I hope this helps.

I was immediately admitted to the IC unit where a stomach specialist and a staff doctor found that I was bleeding internally. Neither of these two doctors could locate the source of the bleeding. Before I was released approx. 32 hours later I reviewed my patient discharge instructions from the first kidney stone visit-to my surprise the instructions clearly state:WARNING: Do not take IBUPROFEN with prenisone since this increases the risk of getting a bleeding ulcer. I asked the staff doctor why the hospital would prescribe ...
