I AM 61 TEARS OLD.I HAVE STARTED TAKING ONCE A DAY IN NIGHT.I WANTED TO KNOW ITS SIDE EFFECTS AND RESULTS . ## I am diabetic PP is around 160.I am taking 3 tablets of Glycephage 500 daily.,Age-80..I am feeling numness in my legs and feet.doctor has prescribed Pregeb M 75 1 cap daily alongwith MecabalOD 1 tab daily.Pl intimate its effectiveness and side effects

I was diagnosed with Herpes Zoster the doctor gave advised me to take Valcivir 1000 along with Preega M75 but since the hospital did not have Preega they gave me Pregeb M75. After taking it for 4 days I started getting numbness in my right arm, little and ring finger. Is this normal? Was Pregeb M75 the right substitute? Was PreegaM75 the right medicine to give in the first place?

I have LS straightening, osteophytes formation,annular tears with posterior herniation in L4,L5 and S1. have pain and burning sensation in LS region and in left leg,especially knee. Thyroid levels are normal but thyroid antibodies is 660 [ref range 20-60], Vit D3 levels are also insufficient. I have been advised thyronorm 25 OD, cal tablets, pregeb 75M BD. After 1 and half week of the intake, I am feeling extreme weakness in lower limb and in left side upper limb. I am having continuous tremors since yesterday. ## Have you consulted your doctor? It may be a side effect or reaction to either the Levothyroxine in the Thyronorm, or the Pregabalin/Methycobalamin in the Pregeb-M, however, it could also be due to several other causes, such as the low vitamin D, or some other medical condition...

I am feeling pain in my leg muscles as soon as I get up from the bed. Can Pregeb M 75 help with this? ## What has your doctor advised? I was unable to sleep so my doctor prescribed me Pregeb M 75 and a Renerve Plus Inj. (containing vitamin b6, mecobalamin and nicotinamide and ential granules too)....I am not having leg pain but the burning sensation is unbearable. I just stay awake the whole night. Dose it damage kidney . ## Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain, it is often given to treat diabetic neuropathy. The Methylcobalamin is a form of Vitamin B12, which can also help with nerve pain. If someone has existing kidney disease, it must be used with extreme caution, so you should make sure to inform you doctor of this. As to causing damage, there are always risks associated with any medication. I am diabetic (type - 2) since last 32 years. Currently I am on Insulin. Now for last around 3 years I am suffering from Diabetic Neuropathy. Doctor from Bangalore, India advices her to take pregabalin sustained release tablets †PREGEB OD 75 mg†from Torrent pharma and simvastatin tablets IP 20mg “SIMCARD20†from Cipla. I have been losing weight progressively over the last four years. All the parameters have been found to be normal. I am generally suffering from allergic gastritis. I was prescribed Caldikind for three months and I gained about 4 kgs. Subsequently, I was prescribed Zincovit and Pregeb-M-OD 75/1500. Weight kept increasing for about 2.5 months but subsequently I lost about two kgs. I have been put again on Caldikind Plus for the last about 20 days but there has been further loss of weight of about 3.5 kg. Shall be grateful for advice.

Hi, I take Pregeb MOD 75 everyday after dinner. I did my tests a couple of days back and it shows my vitamin B12 has increased to 1562. Could anyone suggest what should I do? Thanks.
