I have been on/off Prednisone since 2003. Always been a taper of not more than 10 days. Usually starting with 60 mg. I'm careful to avoid caffeine and watch my sodium intake to avoid rapid heart beating and water retention. What bothers me is I seem to need it every two months like clock work, however usually clear during summer months Could my body be craving it so I always have to come back to it. I suffer from asthma/allergies/sinus and do not like taking it. It has really stepped up my osteoarthritis. It's like I can't fight a cold any longer by myself???? ## Hello, Lynnea! How are you? I am taking bisoprolol 5 mg daily for tachycardia. I now have a lung infection for which I usually take azithromycin and prednisone. How do these pills interact?
