Prednisone 2 20mg A Day

I have been prescribed to take 20 mg prednisone a day but haven't started taking it yet because of the scary side effects. The doctor prescribed methis medicine because of the lumps that has been on my leg. The prescription says to take 7 days 20mg , 7 days 10 mg and 3 days 5mg. Im really scared to take the meds because of the reviews that i have read. I was diagnosed with steroid withdrawal after receiving 3 steroid shots. and given a 12 day taper. When I got down to last pill the pain in my 2 shoulders and hip came racing back. I'm taking 20mg twice a day starting today. . I started with just 20 but about midnight all the pain came back. I'm surprised that it doesn't actually clarify this on the packaging label though. I had a allergic reaction to some makeup or cream and had very swollen and red eyelids/skin. Was prescribed 8 pills of 20 mg prednisone to take 2x/day for 4 days. Hey, I just got prescribed prednisone 20 mg for a horrible allergy reaction to pet dander and (normal summer reactions). I was wondering if it was suitable to take my first dose tonight? 8pm! I started predizone 20 mg yesterday. Took 3 tabs in the early a m . Directions say 3 tabs for 3 days, then 2 tabs for 4 days ,then 1 tab for 4 days. I was prescribed 20 mg of prednisone for an abnormal lump on my leg, i wasn't aware of any of the terrible side affects and took it the first day feeling quite moody and pretty much lost sense of time, when i went to bed my legs began to ache terribly and my heart wouldn't stop pounding. I didn't sleep much at all and when i did i experienced terrible and odd nightmares.
