These statin medications are very problematic and many people have experienced such severe joint and muscle aches that they had to stop taking them. I'm interested in knowing what the composition of the capsule is, ( derived from animal, plant or lab produced? ## The blue capsule in description is identified as Prazosin hydrochloride 5 mg. Judging by the look of it and other pills produced by this manufacturer (Teva Pharmaceuticals USA), I am almost certain that this specific pill is derived from various animal by-products. The blue dye alone is a red-alert in my book. Additionally, gelatin typically constitutes the shells of most pharmaceutical capsules, so I'm further swayed to believe that this holds true for Teva's products as well.
