Pota Vi Kin After Expiration
Is it safe to use this after the expiration date? I have a full bottle of 800,000 U that has a date posted of Sep 30 2005. I would like to use it for a sore throat ## Pota-Vi-Kin is listed as containing the active ingredient Phenoxymethylpenicillin, also commonly referred to as Penicillin V, it is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections. And, being as it is that old, it will likely not have much efficacy left, so taking it creates the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.
