Creme or ointment used for skin conditions, as early as the 1900's or earlier ## Originally prescribed about 1940 for allergic exzema. I am unable to find a replacement. ## I really wonder why the doctors always give the latest medicine when advertising always interferes and we go ahead with wrong benefits: POSLAM an old medicine for skin now not avaiable as there are new once and is advertised as POSLAM is not worthy. I can pay and get many things on your ass and many people belive it too. ## I just found a jar that I had at college. It was wonderful for my zits. Got rid of them quick. Smells terrible; but a great ointment for alot of things. If you find out where to get some of a substitute let me know

old remedy for skin rashes ## Does anyone know where I can buy Poslam Ointment? My Grandmoyher used to have it and it's the best. ## I am also looking for this product. From what I can tell it is no longer made but I won't give up yet. ## I am also looking for Poslam and cannot find a source. Maybe someone should start making it again. It's very effective for skin problems. ## when I googled poslam, I was offered link to ebay, antique- bottle pictures show ingredients. ## Poslam used to be made by Emergency Laboratories, Jersey City, NJ 07302. I tried to find them in on-line phone directories but they don’t seem to exist any more. A pharmacist passed along this formula to my parents. A compounding pharmacy should be able to make it up. I don’t know if it is paten...

skin ointment ## my grandfather used poslam salve and said that he used this salve for boils and to remove foreign things from the body, ie splinters, metal shavings, etc. he is interested in finding more, but has been unsuccessful. if anyone has any info on how to obtain this medication, i would like to know. thanks. ## Sorry, I tried searching for it, but can't find any place that has it for sale, it is possible that it is no longer made. However, what it sounds like is a Drawing-Out Salve, there are many of these available by various companies, including store brands. We picked some up about 2 months ago at CVS. It does exactly what you described and works really well. ## the last time I purchased this medicated Poslam, skin ointment was in 1987 & it cost me $1.60. I brought ...

Where can we get it. I am 71 young still have a little left and it still work like almost over night. Use to be in drug stores in the 50s up. I use it on people then they want it too. ## Hi Torky, From what I've heard, poslam skin ointment is no longer being made by Emergency Laboratories, based out of Jersey City, NJ 07302. However some people in another discussion thread have gone ahead and posted the ingredients that were allegedly used in its formula. You can read more on that by visiting the page below: Discuss/poslam-ointment-175319.htm My thoughts are that you may be able to take that list of ingredients over to a compounding pharmacy and see if they're able to reformulate it for you. I hope this helps!

I have been looking or this product for years. My mother-in-law had the original jar which my husband used sparingly. Because the drug store where they had gotten it from had closed. A friend was able to locate a couple of jars which my son somehow got his hands on and I had not seen it until this past Sunday. I got a small piece of an Easter basket stuck in my finger. It is great for removing things like that, but where can I purchase this product? I live in Illinois near Chicago. Please let me know. Thanks! ## Where can I find poslam ointment? Is there a website to still purchase it? ## Hello Joann, Out of curiosity do you know if poslam ointment was ever sold as a real medicinal product or was it something you could buy over the counter as a herbal remedy like aloe vera products? I a...
