I've been looking for pontocain ointment but can't find it any more. Is it still on the market or has it possibly been discontinued? (if it was discontinued or taken off the market, why? I got a bad toothaches and was prescript Pontalon Mefenamic Acid 250mg, the next day i went for tooth extraction and wasn't given any medicine so i assume i need the same medication. Hi, I'm from Malaysia. I have hypertension and diabetes and have been on medication since April 2014. Ever since i started the medication, (Metformin 500mg + Amlodipine 10mg), my periods have been irregular. until last November, my period did not come at all. I spoke to my doctor about this and he said the cause may be my medication as stated above. I waited until my period came on 9th Feb and it never stopped since (36 days).
