Polymyalgia Rheumatica

Is it necessary that all PMR-symptoms are gone, before you reduce the dosis of Prednisone? ## If I have had a sever reaction to prednisolone / prednisone, what can I take if I have polymyalgia Rhumatica? I have many other drug allergies including morphine and codeine derivatives and other narcotics.

I have been diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica. Why is HCQS 200 mg prescribed for me along with Defcort 6 mg. ## HCQS stands for the medication Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate, it has proven effective at reducing inflammation for arthritic conditions. I have been diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica and am on Defcort 6 mg and Folittrax 2.5 mg. I am very concerned about the side effects. My doctor is monitoring the tablets very closely but what are the side effects of the abolve tablets. I am especially worried about my eyes getting affected. ## I am located in Mumbai, India. I was recently diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica (sudden onset). Because severe pain prevented me from sleeping, I was prescribed Vicoprofin 7.5-200. This had a most unusual effect on my dreams: They invariably involved some stressful situation (house-fire car theft etc) which endured for an extended period of time. When I awoke I was relieved to discover that I had been dreaming - drink of water - visit to the john. Here is the strange part; When I went back to sleep, I was back in the trauma of the previous dream! There's more. When I again awoke with relief and went back to sleep again to find myself in the same dream but this time knowing that I was dreaming! Am looking for a new pain management doctor who is willing to prescribe ms contin and/or norco 10mg. I suffer from chronic pain: polymyalgia rheumatica, migraines, osteoarthritis, etc and am in need of these to get out of bed. The pain is debilitating. I live near Schaumburg,Illinois.
