It could be dangerous, if it caused Serotonin syndrome, but that's not highly likely if it just happened once. Did you experience any adverse effects? It is most likely to cause more severe side effects, which as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. It would also be a good idea to inform your doctor, that way they can watch for any potential issues. In the future, you should also never be afraid to inquire at an urgent care, or via poison control, to be safe. ## I accidentally just took 2 doses of my Chantix. Now I feel really sick. Any suggestions on what I should do or what the side effects are?

I gave my mom 2 clonidine 0.1 mg and she is only supposed to have one every 8 hours. Will she be OK or do I need her to get her to the hospital? ## Hi Marilyn, Sorry to hear about your situation. I realize you posted this back on November 26th and today is December 11th. How is your mom doing now? My assumption is that she may have been fine after the Clonidine wore off - but I do think it's always a good idea to either contact the prescribing doctor, a pharmacist, and/or poison control in the event of an overdose; even if it's acute. These medical personnel could offer recommendations to help mitigate any possible symptoms associated with taking too much. Small round white pill that has ML on one side and nothing on the other. Anyone help ? Walgreens and poison control have no info ## Hello, Jenn! How are you? The ML logo is used by Apotheca Company on their homeopathic products that are sold in various vitamin shops and health food stores, throughout the U.S. Which explains why Walgreens and poison control did not have a listing for them, these products are not required to be registered with the FDA, since they are available over the counter. However, I cannot say which one it is, since they all look the same and they all have the ML logo on them. Is there anything else I can help with?

What to do when a 60 year old male takes an APO 020 (20mg) not prescribed to him? He has been taking 2-3 pills at least once a day for 3-4 days. His symptoms are dry cough, fever, earaches, fatigue, vomiting, black stuff and leg cramps. ## Call poison control or his doctor ASAP. APO 020 Omeprazole is not one of those common "recreational" drugs so he should not get in trouble for it, and they can tell you the appropriate course of treatment. As far as treating GERD (I assume that's what he is taking it for??), he may also wish to consider Apple Cider Vinegar supplementation in the future as long as his doctor says it's okay. My mom was able to get herself off the Omeprazole permanently by incorporating ACV into her diet. Hope this helps and best wishes!

my mom has taken two 750 mg pills by accident. We are all worried and we don't know what to do. she says she's a bit dizzy and we don't know whether or not to go to the hospital. ## If you fear for someone's health or life, you should never wait for an answer on a website. Always contact poison control or your nearest Emergency Services to ask their advice and find out what you should do. That said, you didn't say how much Hydrocodone is in them, with the 750mgs of Acetaminophen, it is 7.5mgs or 10mgs. However, no, the amount she took isn't dangerous. She may experience more nausea, drowsiness and dizziness, than usual. How is she doing, now?

small pink pill : scored on one side with 9 on one side of the score and 0 on the other, the solid side has the capital A on it. resembles a 1 mg xanax in size. I was prescribed Meloxican 15mg for knee pain. RX bottle indicated 1 tab/4 times daily. Took 30 pills in short amount of time. Also was told to take acetaminophen between RX if needed. Went to refill RX and pharmacist said that original RX was written to be taken 1 pill/1 daily. (She wondered why I was refilling so quickly) So now I am concerned if I have taken a toxic amount of meds. I called poison control and was told there was no actual data to indicate toxic amounts of this RX. No side effects other than a little nausea and diarrhea. Ok I have a light blue oblong tylenol shaped pill. It has blue and red speckels all in it and it has a split on one side, like in order to half if. On that side there is a GPI 25. It's wrote just like that, and the GPI on one side of the slit and the 25 is on the other. I take oxycodone 15mg for my back and recently got a refill. I had never seen these before. They are imprinted with E7 & the E is funny looking. I took one & it did absolutely nothing to relieve the pain. Are these pills real? Now I'm scared cause I don't want to have pain but safety is my main concern. My friend is 160lb and she took 4000mg of ibprofen. Should she go to a hospital? ## 4000mg, as in 20 of the standard OTC pills?! Overdose is possible, although unlikely at doses under 100 mg per kg of body weight - keep an eye out for some of the symptoms of Ibuprofen overdose such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, ringing in the ears, and twitchy eye movement. If you suspect that she has overdosed call your the emergency number (such as 911) or 1-800-222-1222 for a local poison control center. Do not wait to take action if she seems to be in danger! My six year old child took a 500 mg Metformin by mistake. What should I do? ## Call poison control or your local hospital......by now the effects are over as I am sure you didn't wait 5 days for an answer. You need to call doc, possibly give oj and watch for signs of low blood sugar; drowsiness, shaking, thirst can accompany due to fast physiological changes. I have an oblong tablet that is red on one side and yellow on the other side and says BP500 on it. I called Poison Control and the pharmacy school and they do not know what it is. Can someone please help me. ## BP500 with yellow and red coloring is Acetaminophen 500mg, which is a generic Tylenol. Do you have any more questions or information to add?
