moved back to the fl panhandle about 6 months ago and desperatly need to get back to pm doc! Does anyone know one either panhandle (pensecola, milton, navarre, mobie,AL Daphne OR Orange, TX, even Louisiana, I cant take the trip south anymore ...but $30-$50 for a k-8 is ri-****-ulous. ## Due to the new laws, you'll have to find one in your immediate area. You, your prescribing doctor and the pharmacy that fills your prescriptions will all have to be within a certain radius to be treated and be able to get them filled. There are restrictions on pharmacies that limit how much of any controlled substance they can order in and have in stock each month, so they've had to implement strict standards on filling prescriptions. Does anyone know of a doctor in that area that they can suggest?

Looking for a good Pain Management dr in Atlanta. I've been going to the same dr for 8 years and out of the blue he changed his patients meds, no longer prescribing any type of Oxycodone. No matter how well it's working for the patient. He's changed mine to Opana ER and it's $1200 for the prescription, I can't find a pharmacy that stocks them and I hear they have terrible side effects. Help me find another dr please! ## let me guess is his initials D.H? dr. Da......He??? ## Opana ER contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone, it is another opiate just like the Oxycodone you were taking, so it carries the risk of causing the same side effects, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. They also carry the risk of being habit forming. R...

Sixty five and just got the mandatory Medicare but also have a PPO since March. My previous plan, an HMO would only provide me with 40 Vicodin a month for my daily back pain which includes scoliosis, spurs, two very degenerated discs, annular tear, sciatica and some other issues if can't even remember. I've had the epidural several times with minor relief, PT, neurontin, tramadol (does zip). After the big conspiracy by the FDA was enacted in Nov, I was cut off with no referral. I know that some people abuse their pain meds, but 40 a month? Come on. They even cut my friend off that has severe MS all because of this FDA thing. I was still hurting rationing 40 pills a month. My primary told me that Americans are too dependent on pain meds. She said that in her country of Paraguay p...

Looking for a listening understanding PM DR in Carson City Gardnerville Nv area n can deal with slowly becoming tolerant patient's ## Hello, Kelly! How are you doing? Every pain doctor should understand that issue, it is well known to occur in everyone, when they've taken something for a long period of time. The FDA has many articles explaining it and advising doctors on how to deal with it. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

My pain Drs. license has been suspended. I am now left without any refill or Dr. to go too. No one was notified by the office that this had occurred. People are now left in pain and going through terrible withdrawls. I do not know what to do. I do not have a primary care Dr. and am now out of meds. Can someone pls. help give advice. I am very upset that nothing was done by my Dr. to inform patients that he was no longer able to provide care and left to find out on their app. day that this had happened. ## Hi Jackson, I'm sorry to hear about what has happened with your doctor. I haven't personally experienced this before, so my only advice (which may seem obvious) would be to file a complaint with the better business bureau or speak with a lawyer about any legal action that might...

With car accidents a couple of falls and I'm a dental assistan so imagine the constant movement of that area. Omgeez!! My ? Is if anyone knows of any pm doctors that won't make me feel bad about being in constant pain. I have a great neurologist but I'm moving and won't have much time to travel. Thx all :) stay sunny and out of pain. ## Have you tried asking your neurologist to refer you to someone? That could be your best bet for finding one that will understand your condition and not be uptight and worried about your requiring pain medications. Otherwise, you'll likely get more responses if you can post back with your general location. California is pretty big....

Cannot raise her arms, walks only one mile a day and feels tired. She is going to as for a blood test but has anyone heard of side effects of coming off stations? Will this pass? Any suggestions re help? This could be PMR ..... Any advice really appreciated. ## Hello, Clare! How is you mother doing? It's difficult to say what may be causing the problem, it could be PMR, or something else. Has she consulted her doctor, yet? PMR and flu shots , any relationship between the two ? After getting a flu shot , I came down with this rheumatic ailment . ## I got a flu shot on 12/3/10, came down with severe stiff shoulders 12/4/10. 2 mos PT no help, then went into my hips and diagnosis is PMR. Terrible pain and immobility, am now on 30mg prednisone which barely makes it tolerable. Finally getting to see rheumatologist later this month. I did a search on flu vaccine & PMR, very surprised at how many hits.... ## According to this article from the National Library of Medicine, PMR has been known to occur after vaccination, and if you read through, you'll see that they cite it occurring more often from season influenza vaccines. The FDA also warns that the influenza vaccine may cause dizziness, headache, admini...

I found some pills with 123 on one side and PMS I 20 on the other. Could someone please help verify what these are ## Hi Robert, Based on my research, the pill you have is most likely manufactured by the Canadian pharmaceutical company "Pharmascience". I haven't found enough reliable information to accurately identify your pill but from what I can gather, it could possibly be Ritalin. Ritalin (methylphenidate) is a central nervous system stimulant and is used to treat attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and narcolepsy (an uncontrollable desire to sleep). Here is a link to the Pharmascience's contact page if you'd like to ask them about the pill you have: pharmascience.com/canada/contact-us/ I hope this helps!

How long does the effect of one Pms Cyclobenzaprine 10mg last???? When is the best time to take it EX: morning 11 am after noon 3pm or night 10pm????? ## Cyclobenzaprine is muscle relaxant and, as such, it may cause dizziness and drowsiness as side effects, so it may be easier to take it at night, to avoid it disrupting daytime activities. But it should be taken when you were directed to in the prescribing instructions. The half-life is about 18 hours or so, that's when it hits 50% of the amount taken in your body, so one may last most of the day, depending on how severe your muscle spasms are. How many have you been directed to take daily? There is an extended release version available in some countries that lasts longer and is taken once daily. You can learn more Cyclobenzaprine d...
