My pharmacist gave me a refill of propranolol hydrochloride 20 mg ( a green pill). Are these the same medicine and just a different manufacturer or a different medicine? I didn't realize the pill difference until I got home.

Can you please double check and post back? If so, Pliva lists the tablet as containing 20mgs of Propranolol, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and some cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
