I found some small, oblong white pills and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. They have no prints or scoring on either side, they are totally plain. If you lick them they taste sort of tangy, and bitter. Does anyone know what they are? I don't think they could be E because they are not round, and have no prints on them... ## I have some at the moment they are generic for Tylenol. Hope it helps... ## Actually, without a marking, it is very difficult to say what they are with any certainty. There are many over the counter items that meet this description, some are Acetaminophen, but not all. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. It can, however, be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have markings ...

I just happened to buy a bottle of cheap vitamins. Glucosamine to be exact. It is an oblong pill with no markings or scoring. Hope this helps. ## Hi how big is it? Can you measure it please, Thank you ## Hello Nick, Thank you for sharing the information with the community. Just for your information vitamins and supplements do not have to be marked with an imprint like controlled medications do and thus there are bound to be many brands and types of supplements and vitamins that are white oblong pills with no imprint. In fact I have seen certain brands that use one color and shape for all of their vitamins and I can remember myself thinking, but how do they know if they accidentally switched the pills? Once again, thank you for taking the time out of your day to share this information. #...

I have two plain white oblong pills with no markings on them at all. What could they be? ## @Rwsgirl, Just curious, whereabouts did you get the pills from? Unfortunately there are a wide variety of things this could be due to how broad the description is. I have both calcium and magnesium tablets that share this same depiction. Not to mention the numerous other over-the-counter supplements, illicit drugs and foreign medications that don't require pill imprints like the FDA demands for pharmaceuticals here in the US. So I think once you determine their origin, then other pertinent details might also fall into place more easily... In the meantime I would probably contemplate getting these pills analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel just to have to added clarification as to what drug cat...

If you lick them they taste sort of tangy, and bitter. Does anyone know what they are? I don't think they could be x because they are not round, and have no prints on them... ## If there are no imprints, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. It can be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. Therefore, it is very likely that it is something available over the counter, but there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else have any ideas?

One of my tablets has been changed from an oblong Orange coloured tablet with 40 on one side and plain on the other side to a white one and since my other medications are white I am having difficulty identifying it, it is White, oblong with D 4 on one side (has an indent between letters) and is plain on the other side, it could be my Cholesterol tablet.

These pills are about 3 quarters of an inch, oblong, & scored down the middle. The '4' is on one side of the score and 'LC' on the other side of the score. The other side of the pill is unmarked. I found 2 of them cut in half in my pill cutter.

I found an white oblong shaped pill with absolutely no markings on either side and it tastes sort of sour or bitter when you lick it. found it in my daughters room ? anyone know? ## I can't imagine it is a pharmacy/Dr prescribed medication. All medicines, except vitamins, need a marking to be identified. Unless she got them from overseas pharmacies (black market) sent to her. I have had some xanax come with no markings.

I found a white oblong pill that looks exactly like the plain tylenol cap's in my little sisters room, it has M24 on the one side and nothing on the other... Please tell me what this is!??!?! ## Sorry, I cannot find any listing for a tablet with this marking. It is possibly something over the counter.

I found some white oblong pills with NO markings of any kind on them and I have no idea what it is. I've taken many medications from opiates to benzos and barbituates in the last 8 years and can pretty much tell what anything is but like I said, this is just a plain pill, just a bit shorter than an inch with no letters, numbers, symbols, nothing. What could this be? ## Hello, CC! How are you? If there are no markings, then unless you've ordered medications from a foreign source, they have to be over the counter products. All U.S. prescription medications are required to have unique markings to enable their identification. Are there any over the counter products that you remember buying? Perhaps Acetaminophen or a supplement of some type?

I've found a white oblong pill with rounded ends. It's embossed with "L404" on one side, while the other side is plain. Thank you in advance for any help identifying it. ## I think that the imprint being reported is actually L484 instead of L404. Is it possible that the '8' is just worn down? If so, then the tablet in question is actually just an over the counter pain reliever containing Acetaminophen 500 mg (not a narcotic). NDC 49348-042 among others. Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed ## I believe your pill is Acetaminophen 325mg, Dextromethorphan 15mg, Guaifenesin 200mg, phenylephrine 5mg, which are active ingredients in Cold PE Severe Congestion, an OTC combo. #...

White oblong tablet (not capsule) - one side says B L and the other side says 30. I think its a 30mg co codomol but im not too sure. Other half says it is a beechams plus. ## Yes I agree with you. I have two in my hands at this very moment. White oblong tablet (not capsule) 1.5 cm long. The characters are quite large for a tablet. ## According to Bristol Laboratories Ltd. (whom I'm assuming is the manufacturer), "a white capsule shaped biconvex uncoated plain tablet, debossed with ‘30’ on one side and ‘BL’ on the other side", is reportedly identified as Co-codamol 30mg/500mg - containing 30mg of Codeine Phosphate + 500mg of Paracetamol. Each tablet is also said to contain 0.3455mg of sodium - though I'm not sure if you can actually taste the sodiu...

This pill has 512 on one side and V on the other. Anyone know what it is? I found it in my daughters jeans. ## I'm sorry, but I have been checking for this in our various resources, since I first saw your post and I am just not finding a tablet that has the 512 and a V on it. Are you in the U.S.? I know there is a plain white tablet with just a 512 on it that is a Percocet, that contains Acetaminophen and Oxyodone, but it doesn't have a V on the opposite side. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## It's a darvocet. The 512 and cursive capital V are on the same side, correct? ## Oops, it it's darvocet the pill will be oblong. Sorry, just saw you said it was round.

I found this pill oval one side is p 525 n other side is plain is it hydro or wat ## @Tuty, Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is an oval "white" pill marked with P 525, manufactured by Athlon Pharma. This particular pill reportedly contains 525mgs of guaifenesin + 50mg of pseudoephedrine, and is marketed under the trade name "Entex PSE". As far as applications go, pseudoephedrine is a decongestant and guaifenesin is an expectorant. I realize that the color of your pill is notably different, however this is the only search result I've seen that closely resembles it. Hope this helps! Does anyone else here recognize the pill as being something different? ## I found two blue oval pills in my generic tylenol bottle: \ with p525 and they are guaf...

Its almost a very light light violet or light purple pill with TEC on it, the same as a white oxycodone, is it more powerfull? ## Unknown pill - found in teen's room: I found 6 oblong, white pills. They are plain on one side and TEC l on the other side. Can you please tell me what these are? ## I got some white oblong pills rounded at each end from Canada with "TEC I" being the only writing on one side & these you can buy over the counter for light pain. They are 300mg acetaminophen + 7mg caffeine + 15mg codeine; although I might be wrong on the milligrams.
