Had others, first time I got these. They are n.p 12, the others were always pink also, same color, but domed on both sides... these don't seem too work as well, I have sever liver disease and full blown celiac... is this all in my mind or a justified argument ? ## Hello, Les! How are you? I'm sorry that this tablet isn't working as well for you. There can be differences from one generic medication to another. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, there are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient… and they only have to measure against the name brand, not against each other, so you could conceivable have one generic that's slightly high in the amount of the active ingredient and then another that's slightly low...

Small round pink pill with the letter P on one side. There are no other markings. ## There are a couple possible ID's for this pill, based on the description provided. Although there may be more, the one's I located are manufactured in the US. The first match is identified as Pepcid complete (calcium carbonate 800 mg + famotidine 10 mg + magnesium hydroxide 165 mg). The "P" imprint on this pill is clearly a P and not a B. The other possible match I found is the same pill except that it's a children's version with only 400mgs of calcium carbonate. I cannot locate a photo of this one though. There is one other round pink pill marked "B", that is identified as Children's benadryl allergy fastmel 19mg. It is manufacturered by Pfizer U.S. Pharmaceuticals G...

I found a round dark pink pill with b on one side and blank on the other. Seems to be coated. ## I have seen a number of round pink pills with a lowercase "b" on one side, but the other side to these pills also bear 3 digit numerals. On the other hand if it's a capital "B" on one side and blank on the back, then this is reportedly identified as a Children's Benadryl (fast melt); containing 19mgs of diphenhydramine citrate. This medication is an antihistamine used for treating symptoms of an allergic reaction. For further verification, the pill itself is a product of Pfizer. I hope this helps!

small pink round pill with 30 printed to one side, the other side has a deep split line. all infomation on this would be greatly appreciated as i cannot find elsewhere ## Hi Girly, The closest match I've been able to locate is Mirtazapine (30 mg). It is a round light beige pill (that could be mistaken as light pink) with the imprint M 530 on one side and a deep score line on the other. Mirtazapine (Remeron, Avanza, Zispin) is a noradrenergic and specific serotonergic antidepressant (NaSSA) which was introduced by Organon International in the United States in 1990 and is used primarily in the treatment of depression. It is also commonly used as an anxiolytic, hypnotic, antiemetic, and appetite stimulant. Structurally, mirtazapine can also be classified as a tetracyclic antidepressant...

can someone tell me what this round dark pink or maroon with rugby on one side and 3875 on other. ## From what I've heard, the "rugby" imprint has been discontinued for quite some time. Rumors suggest that it used to be an imprint that Watson Pharmaceuticals used on their over the counter meds... However, Watson has since been taken over by Actavis; and Actavis (as of August 2016) has since been taken over by Teva... Having said this, I would still encourage you to try contacting the manufacturer directly for more specific details... Another option is to have the tablet analyzed by a lab. Does anyone else here recognize this pill? ## Hydroxyzine from the 1990s

Found pill in my hallway, it has a clear imprint of C 9 on it. May have had something on other side, but it was wore off. Tried looking up, can't find. It is pinkish, peach in color. ## Hi Andi, Based on the description provided, the closest match I could locate is a white Elliptical / Oval shaped pill imprinted with "GG C9"; which is identified as Clarithromycin 500 mg. National Drug Code (NDC): 00781-1962 Clarithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute maxillary sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia (especially atypical pneumonias associated with Chlamydia pneumoniae or TWAR), skin and skin structure infections. Please help! I've found a hot pink round pill w/ an imprint of B. Nothing else. I found it in my daughters things after unpacking from a trip. ## It is identified as Fastmelt Children's Benadryl 19mgs. She had allergy problems I'm guessing. :) ## Yes, Benadryl contains the active ingredient Diphenhydramine, it is used to treat allergies, and as a sleep aid, since it causes drowsiness as a side effect, along with dizziness, and dry mouth. There is a round, pink childrens tablet with a B on it, as described by Jimbo, as well as a regular 25mg oblong pink tablet, both are available over the counter. Is there anything I can help with?

The white oval pain pill with A332 worked for my severe pain and I had never increased the dose. The last refill I received a pink round pill with 229 and a G on the front and it doesn't help me. Why? ## As permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient. However, they do not have to measure against each other, just the name brand, so the prior one you were taking may have been slightly higher, so this one may be lower and not as effective for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
