medium oval shape pink pill with no writing on it. what can it be. perhaps energy? ## There is no way to say for sure what it is, if there is no imprint on the tablet, very sorry. Legal US prescription drugs must all have unique imprints to enable their identification, otherwise it could be anything. Where did you find it? ## I located a pill with similar markings to a round, pink colored pill with M 4 on it, it's Magnesium Carbonate 400 mg, Calcium Carbonate 200 mg, and Folic Acid 1 mg, which is listed as a vitamin supplement. If this is not your pill, please post back so I can help you locate the correct one. ## I found a oval shaped light pink with teeny darker speckles, no lines, no i.d. markings. It's 3/4 inch in length, and approx 5/12 inches thick in middle.

How are you? I think you may be talking about Darvocet, which contained Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene. It was a very mild narcotic and yes, it was pulled from the market due to the risk of cardiac dangers. The FDA listed it as possibly being habit forming and it could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Does the sound correct?

more of a capsule shape pink in color no imprint on either side ## Hello, Judy! How are you? Without any imprints, it's difficult to narrow down an identification with any certainty. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription tablet, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means that it's most likely an over the counter product and that leaves it wide open to many possibilities. Just as an example, I have some tablets matching this description sitting on my shelf right now, they contain 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, a store brand of Benadryl, which is used to treat allergies. What is a pink oval pill scored down the middle and 250 on back of pill with nothing on the scored side? ## I'm fairly certain this is an old erythromycin pill, 250mg. It is an antibiotic used to treat infection. Side effects include diarrhea, headache, dizziness, among others. ## It is hard to say, there is a pill from Canada, with just the 250 marking that is described as a peach color, and it is Divalproex Sodium, an anticonvulsant, and there is an American tablet made by Usher Smith called Slo-Niacin, which is 250mgs of the vitamin Niacin. ## I was able to find the old erythromycin and am fairly confident thats what it is but one certainly cant be one hundred per cent sure without seeing the thing huh? ## Yes, there are nuances as to the pill size and shape, that you just don...

I found a pink capsule shaped pill. Its pretty big and its its marked 287 on one side and nothing on the other please fill me in what this is ## @Tyson, The only relevant matches I'm finding are oval pink colored pills, imprinted with "2875" or "2876". There's no other numbers on the backside of each pill, but there is a faint imprint of a heart symbol. These particular pills are identified as an antihypertensive medication known as Avalide; containing hydrochlorothiazide + irbesartan. So I have to ask if there's any chance that the marking may have been misinterpreted due to possible fading/degradation of the pill itself from storage conditions or otherwise? Please post back if you have additional details regarding this and I'll see if I can dig any deep...

My boyfriend gave me this pink oval pill; he told me to take it to cleanse toxins inside my body. What kind of illness does this pill treat? ## This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Azithromycin, which is an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. It will not cleanse toxins from your body, your liver and kidneys do that naturally. It also should not be taken, unless your doctor has prescribed it for you. Are you on any other medications? ## Most likely he gave you an STI because that’s what they use to treat them.
