does anyone kno how to iv the new ops ## They have been specially designed to prevent using them in an unintended manner. If you try to break them down, they turn into a gummy substance that retains its time released properties and can supposedly only be broken down by stomach acid. Side effects are supposed to remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Are there any comments or questions?

It's a pink small round pill with op on one side and 20 on the other side ## This is the new replacement for the Oxycontin 20 mg. The color is an exact match for the OC 20, but the new pills are noticeably thicker. This thing has the consistency of candle wax. ## That is correct, it is the new Oxycotnin OP. Is it possible to at least cut these in half in order to take a lower doseage? ## These are time released tablets and, even though they have tried to formulate them to prevent it, cutting them in half could still result in your getting too much of the medication released, at once. The Oxycodone in this is a very potent narcotic analgesic and getting too much at once could be very dangerous. If you require a lower dosage, you should contact your doctor, as they can prescribe them in a lower amount. Are there any other questions? ## I have cut these into quarters with no adverse affects. So it is basically become a 5mg dose. I like these because they do not contain acetaminophen like most other narcotic prescriptions. How strong is this medication. Op 20 ## It's difficult to say how strong something is without comparing it to something else. I did come across a long term patient review in which it was stated that Opana is more comparable or equivalent to the stronger pain medication known as Dilaudid and that it may also be stronger than Oxycodone and Morphine. So in that regard, it is certainly among the top pain medications in terms of potency. Keep in mind however that these medications can effect each individual differently, so you may have to re-align your expectations for Opana after you try it. Others have argued that the new formula of Opana is less effective than it's previous counterpart, but you shouldn't judge it solely based on others reviews. I hope this helps!

these pillls came mixed with my oxycotin 20 mg oc - 20 (round pink) pills, or they just generic or the wrong medicine ## No, they are the new Oxycontin OP, same medication, but they have been specifically formulated to help prevent abuse. Your pharmacy was permitted to use up their prior stock of the original Oxycontin, but once they ran out, they have to use the new product. They probably did not have enough left of the original to finish filling your prescription, so they had to use the new product. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Trying to find out what these pills are..there's a 20 on one side and ON underlined on the other. They are small, round, and pink. Exactly like oxycontin except that they say ON instead of OC or OP. As from what I can tell, no one else on this site has come across anything like it in other related threads. The OX 20 imprint just seems like a fake in my opinion, based on NIH.gov depictions of how 20mg Oxycontin should look if it was actually a legitimate Oxycontin pill. Real 20mg Oxycontin's by Purdue Pharmaceuticals are, like you said, marked with OC 20 or OP 20.
