This pill was in my bottle of metformin from the pharmacists.i only noticed because it was just a bit smaller than the metformin. What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. You didn't mention pink being part of the color, but it's the only match that comes up under that description. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Does anyone else recognize this tablet without the pink color?

I have an unknown pill and was wondering what is was. I was told it was a percocet but I want to make sure. Does this med also help with sleep issues as well as alergies? ## This contains 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine and yes, it is sometimes used as a sleep aid, because it can cause drowsiness as a side effect. I was taking 2 white 5mg oxycodone IR tabs 2x/day but they were only partially useful in reducing my pain. My doctor reluctantly prescribed 2 pink 10 mg oxycodone IR (= 20mg) tabs every 12 hours. The number 048 is on these tabs. I have had them for three days now and I am taking them as prescribed, but they do not seem to work nearly as well as the former 5mg white tabs. Is this an issue that is simply in my head or is there a reason why taking 2 of the pink 10 mg tabs twice a day aren't working like I thought they would? I filled a doctor's prescription today and two pill were in the bottle. THe directions say take one in morning one in evening. I have taken one of each and now afraid one was added my mistake.
