I got these today I feel no different than before I took them ## are the k56 pink pills are stronger than the k56 pink 10mg pills ## Hello, Talloneh! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Not everyone experiences a lot of side effects from any given medication. Did it relieve your pain? That is the most important issue. Shortly, I'm sorry, but I am not sure what you're asking. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! ## Yea, there's no "punch" to them.. I'm not expecting much...

Been taking painkillers ( vicodin, lortab, lorcet ((discontinued)), and Norco for many years. Skiing, motorcycles, etc. Whe I started the Norco, I got them from cvs. Found out that the ones manufactured by Malincrodt were completely ineffective when compared to the Watson product. My Doc has me on the pink k56 oxy now. I picked them up, reluctantly, from cvs because of the insurance Discount. Only able to get coverage for 90 although I had a prescription for 120. My question is does anyone know if the ones I have (manufactured by KVK-Tech INC) are going to be a waste of time like the Malinkrodt norcos were. Is there a quality oxy 10mg manufacturer that is better than the others? Thank you ## Hi Scott, Looking at some of the related KVK Tech threads here, this manufacturer in particular ...

I have a pink small pill that says k 57. It looks like the grey k 57 oxycodone. Is it the same drug? I was told it is a 20 mg oxycodone. ## That is a 10 mg Roxy. They are pink. The 20 mg ones are gray. The 15 mg ones are green... Usually a light green. The 30 mg ones are blue. Depending on the maker of each of these they can be different shades of pink, green and blue. There are 5 mg ones that are white also. Hope that helps you out! ## @Samantha, The small round pink pills with K | 56 are generic 10mg Oxycodone HCL (not brand name Roxy). They are made by KVK Tech Inc. and carry a National Drug Code of 10702-056-01. The K | 57 are round gray generic 20mg Oxycodone HCL tablets also made by KVK Tech. I take oxycodone HCL 10 mg for severe I.C. pain. It is a small round pink pill. Is there any ASA or Acetaminophen in this pill? I am asking because I also have hydrocodon-Aceta 10-325mg and I think the Hydrcodon is causing some stomach discomfort. The oxycodone is for break threw at night and seems to not upset my stomach. ## What are the markings on the tablet in question? I'm sorry, but this additional information is needed, in order for it to be identified for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

I have a friend that takes 24 pink percocets a day 720 pills a month an her doctor prescribed them to be taken like that can that harm her. ## If this is what her doctor recommended for her, then I'd imagine she must be in some serious debilitating pain without it. However, what really concerns me about this doctor's approach is that each percocet tablet contains a minimum 325mgs of Acetaminophen. At the dosage she's taking in, that's an alarming 7,800mgs of Acetaminophen within 24hrs. Enough to cause some serious liver damage. Her doctor may have ignored the warning label, but it's been clearly stated by the FDA as well as drug manufacturers NOT to exceed 4,000mgs of Acetaminophen within a 24hr period and NOT to exceed 1000mgs in a single dose. These numbers a far b...

I take the 10mg pink Oxycodone and I am on disability for whatever reason DSHS\SSI medical insurance makes me pay 2 out of every 3 months for the 10mg tablets the 3rd month is free Why? The 5 mg tablets are also partially covered only 90 tablets are covered (free). I have a 28 day supply every month #112 if 5mg per my request no more than 4 in 24hr period written on the bottle or #56 10mg with (at my request no more than 2 in 24hr written on bottle.) I was switching back and forth to avoid being charged because without notice they stopped covering the Oxycodone the 1st time I was given my prescription of 112# 5mg they docked my amount to 90 tab because that's all dshs would cover and they refused to give me the remaining 22 because you can't pay cash on a dshs paid script. It has a National Drug Code of 0603 4998 21. What percocet is this? Pictures plz. ## Hello, Gata! How are you? According to the NDC database, that is the 5/325 dosage manufactured by the former Vintage Pharmaceuticals. I apologize that I don't have a picture to post for you. However, they describe it as being a pink, elliptical/oval pill with a stylized V on one side and the numbers 4825 on the other side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm taking 5 mg of oxycodone 2x's a day. Can I split the pink oxycodone 10 mg hcl k 56 in half and use up extra tablets that I have in hand? Yes, the only time released one available are the name brand Oxycontin, so this is a regular release tablet which can be cut in half, unless your doctor or pharmacist gives you some reason not to do so. Need to order.....ASAP !!! ## @Tivomama, If you have a true legitimate need for this medication, I have to wonder what's holding you back from just going to see a doctor and obtaining a valid prescription? When you try to order meds like this from off the internet you're not guaranteed to get what you pay for anyways, kinda like taking a shot in the dark. Better to play it safe and at least get something for your pain rather than a pill with unknown ingredients (because they don't always use imprints/markings for ID'ing it) or in some cases, nothing at all (because customs got to it first and will likely send you letter in the mail or appear at your door step to confront you about the felony). I've seen it happen to several other users on here who were kind enough to...

Are the pink n p 12 Oxus INSTANT RELEASE OR EXTENDED RELEASE? ## Hello, Auntie! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list them as being regular release tablets, so they begin to work about 15 to 20 minutes after you take them. The OxyIR is only available in 5mg capsules. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Just probably should clarify... it all depends on how long you take it but daily for a couple of months and a habit isnt a possibility... a physical dependence is a promise. Even a pill per day causes tolerance which is the first signs ...

I was taking lortab 10/500 blue with Watson 540 stamped on the pill, taking four a day. My pain has worsened. Dr changed my meds to Oxycodone 10mg it's very small (pink with k56 on the pill). What's the difference? Got me taking 1 every 4 to 6 hours and 180 a month. Is that ok? Or should I be worried? ## Hi Todd, Both of these medications are narcotics that are classified as controlled substances. Although they have similar side effects and drug interactions, they are different drugs. Oxycodone is generally considered to be more potent than Hydrocodone (although some people may find Hydrocodone to work better, due to individual differences in how people react to medications). It is also available as a single-ingredient medication or in combination with other active ingredients, ...

what is stronger, oxycodone 10mg or hydrocodone/acetaminophen10-325 mg? ## From what I could gather, oxycodone is said to be approximately 1.5 times more potent than hydrocodone. So I'd put my bet on the oxycodone being stronger than the vicodin. Although I'd also imagine that its effects on each patient will be largely influenced by individual tolerance, pain threshold, severity of the condition, and other personal factors. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxycodone Details I hope this helps!
