need to know what look like ## Oxycontin is a time released formulation of the narcotic Oxycodone, it is now only available as the name brand manufactured by Purdue to try to better control the supply to curb abuse, theft and diversion. The original formulation had the letters OC on the tablets, with a number designating the dosage on the opposite side. The new formulation uses the letters OP. Does it hurt the op 40's if they are cut in half? I don't like to take the whole pill at once. ## Since these are time released tablets, it isn't advisable that you cut them in half, because even with the new formulation, it could still result in the Oxycodone being released faster, so you get too much in your body, at once. There are lower dosages available, have you tried asking your doctor about just prescribing a lower one? ## That's not correct you can cut them ## Yeah you can. I have a small brown pill with 30 on one side and ON underlined on the other, I was told its an oxy but I'm not sure because I have been looking it up but everything I find says small brown pill with 30 on one side and OC on the other is an oxy but this pill doesn't say OC any ideas anyone, trying to be safe , not a guinea pig ## Based on the description provided, I believe that pill is the new Canadian formulation of 30mg ER oxycodone which is "OxyNEO". I was able to reach this conclusion after someone else identified their round pink "ON 20" pill as Canadian OxyNEO (20mg). The "ON" was also underlined on theirs as well. this is a little light blue round pill with a m printed on it and underlined ## I can't possibly list them all, there are far too many on the market. It is the imprint that identifies them. Can you post back with the markings on the tablet in question? There is one that has an M in a box on one side and a 30 on the opposite side of the pill, it is light blue. There is another in a darker blue, with the M in a square and the numbers 596 on the opposite side. Please help asap! I been out of work and have finally have a job offer. I need to take a drug test tomorrow (Tuesday) this past Thu morning I took a 30mg I think it oxycontin the blue round one with an M on it along with a 10mg Percocet later that afternoon I got the job offer.
