They do, however, offer a savings card which gives patients a discount at the pharmacy. You might also want to see if you can apply for the manufacturer's patient assistance program (pretty much all of the big manufacturers offer such a program). It looks like Zydus Pharmaceuticals is the company that manufactures the pink NP 12 version of Oxycodone. So can find their contact information on their site: zydususa.com. I can tell you with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY the pink round small pill with NP imprinted on one side & 12 imprinted on the other it is generic Roxicodone 10 mg. I take them and they are highly addictive and if misused can be fatal. ## Hi Jeanie, After doing a bit of research, I do agree with you that a round pink pill marked with NP 12 is in fact a generic Oxycodone HCL 10 mg tablet. And yes you're right, these can be highly addictive and dangerous under the wrong hands. I don't know if anyone else has tried to disprove you on the pill's identification, giving you reason to post about it… but this information is also verifiable using its National Drug Code of 68382-0794. I hope this helps! ## I have a herniated l4-5 disc with sciatica and am in serious (8 - 10) pain dail...

Are the pink n p 12 Oxus INSTANT RELEASE OR EXTENDED RELEASE? ## Hello, Auntie! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list them as being regular release tablets, so they begin to work about 15 to 20 minutes after you take them. The OxyIR is only available in 5mg capsules. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Just probably should clarify... it all depends on how long you take it but daily for a couple of months and a habit isnt a possibility... a physical dependence is a promise. Even a pill per day causes tolerance which is the first signs ...

The one with the NP 12 marking is made by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and the other is made by KVK Tech. Been taking painkillers ( vicodin, lortab, lorcet ((discontinued)), and Norco for many years. Skiing, motorcycles, etc. Whe I started the Norco, I got them from cvs. Found out that the ones manufactured by Malincrodt were completely ineffective when compared to the Watson product. My Doc has me on the pink k56 oxy now. I picked them up, reluctantly, from cvs because of the insurance Discount. Only able to get coverage for 90 although I had a prescription for 120. My question is does anyone know if the ones I have (manufactured by KVK-Tech INC) are going to be a waste of time like the Malinkrodt norcos were. Is there a quality oxy 10mg manufacturer that is better than the others? Thank you ## Hi Scott, Looking at some of the related KVK Tech threads here, this manufacturer in particular ...

What other pharmaceuticals make oxycodone 10mg IR besides kvk tech and the ones that have "NP and 12" on the sides. I get headaches as a side effect from these and I'm assuming it's bc of the fillers. I didn't have problems when I used to get 5mg bc there seemed to be more options. I'm thinking I'm going to have to decrease the mg to get a different brand. I don't feel they help at all. Tia ## There are many pharmaceutical companies that make this, far too many to list. The FDA does list headaches as being a possible side effect of Oxycodone, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation, and dry mouth. Which ones are you currently receiving? ## where can i find the fake piller pills for the pink tens for pull counts

I was taking 2 white 5mg oxycodone IR tabs 2x/day but they were only partially useful in reducing my pain. My doctor reluctantly prescribed 2 pink 10 mg oxycodone IR (= 20mg) tabs every 12 hours. The number 048 is on these tabs. I have had them for three days now and I am taking them as prescribed, but they do not seem to work nearly as well as the former 5mg white tabs. Is this an issue that is simply in my head or is there a reason why taking 2 of the pink 10 mg tabs twice a day aren't working like I thought they would? Again, the number on the pink 10mg tabs reads 048. Thank anyone who has some substantive feedback to my question. ## Are you taking an otc Tylenol with the pink 10? what brand oxycode 10 mg is most bioavailable? have been on KVK brand for severe arthritis and post joint replacement surgery. Pharmacy just switchted to pink pills with 12 on one side and np on other side. These pills do not provide nearly the same level of pain relief. I previously used KVK brand for breakthrough pain. I take 10mg oxycodone every 8 hrs as needed for pain it is pink, round has a 12 on one side an N P on the other. I've been on this dose for about 18 months and most of the time it works great for my chronic lower back pain. Sometimes tho my pain level jumps to a ten and I still have 4 hrs before my next dose. It's unbearable! Can I take my dose any sooner when that happens? ## You should only take the amount prescribed by your doctor, especially if you aren't tolerant to narcotics. If it isn't handling your pain, it would be best to consult your physician, rather than just doubling up on your own, so you don't risk overdose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry...

Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. They do little for your pain and they are NOT immediate release. ## If I had to speculate on why it's not working as well, there could be a variety of factors influencing its efficacy either all at once and/or singularly at different points in time; be it our metabolism and how it changes throughout the day, our tolerance, weight, body chemistry, different inactive ingredients, less active ingredients used in different generics, etc, etc...
